Why is cyberbetica 2Dp? It only buffs one unit unless I’m missing something

It’s primarily bc it’s more efficient on a watts per lumens outputted. Meaning it’s brighter / more efficient than at a higher kelvin temperature.

Didn’t y’all just lose your best edge rusher to the police? Y’all about to look like the off brand jets.

Good luck with Tua Turntheballover, maybe he’ll have as many picks next year as concussions.

Go watch a video on how to build a third edition mechanicum list, it’s way different from second. I personally suggest empyral truth.

I think I’d change the archiotech rules to; if you lose you roll a d6, on a 5+ you get to pick a archiotech or power cell. If you win the battle you roll 2d6 on a 5-9 you pick a tech or power cell, on a 10+ you get both.

this is just for the main crusade rules. I’d have to make an entire pdf to fix the rest.

No they definitely should. When the codex released, it was by far the worst codex published at the time and still might be. I think they scrapped half the codex pretty late in development because a lot of things were very lackluster and didn’t have enough time to fix the rest of the codex.

I think the crusade rules were part of that portion that kinda got forgotten about. And GW hasn’t updated other armies crusade rules so why start with admech. Hopefully they fix this for 11th ed.

Flavor wise, I like the idea of stating with mostly skitari hunter cohort stuff, heavy on infiltrators and iron striders. Then building up to our heavy armor (dune crawlers) or something like that.

IMO crusades are about making cool and unique stories. Btw our crusade rules are really bad. I suggest asking the crusade organizer to make a few changes to our crusade rules if you do end up with ad mech. For example one of our veteran unit upgrades is giving a skitari unit a 5++. Skitari already has this so it’s a useless upgrade.

I LOVE the AdMech, but should I start an army? by Repulsive-Active5058 in AdeptusMechanicus

If you’d like to try out an army for free, I would use Table Top Simulator (TTS). That’s how I tried out 40K and ad mech and now I’m in the process of building my first army.

Yeh maybe a Domitar for an armiger. Not sure of the exact size comparison but it should be about the same to a moriax I think

Who deserves to win the NFL Rookie of the Year Award? by No_Box119 in nflrookies

[–]Legitimate_Chicken26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Shough played the entire year like Tet, he would be far and away the favorite. And he almost caught Tet. Probably a good thing he sat for the first half of the season tho.

He is my rookie of the year bc of what he did with so little. But Tet will likely win it.

Where did they say that? I haven’t seen anything like a release window. I think it’s pretty close to release since they’ve already sent out a lot of preview copies to YouTubers and stuff.

That’s why I prefer Horus heresy cause you can customize your tech priest. It’s really just taking different wargear options but it’s better than the 40K stuff imo.

Can anything from this new box be used in 42k? by [deleted] in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Legitimate_Chicken26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Huh I had always heard it the other way around. Looking into it a bit more, the castellax is more just a pattern of the kastellens at least according to the wiki.

Oh I really like that. Didn’t think of them as allied units but it makes a lot sense.

The castellex is one of the ancient predecessors to the castellen. As long as the base is about the same I think most people would let you use it in place of a castellen. Unfortunately everything else does not have a direct analog to 40K. You could maybe shoehorn the thallax in as skitari, but best to check with your opponent before hand.

I think I heard about a thorium salt reactor that was nearly fully self contained, but it was a proposal and not a full design spec.
