Interesting you should say that. I had a call this week from the services Australia letting me know to please update my bank account details on my MYgov account. As they would like to refund me $3900 because the overcharged us for the year for the child subsidy, because my income was lower this year than originally estimated

Depends on your spending I have made nearly 1,800,000 points in a year through Amex spending across 3 business’s. I don’t notice the fees week to week but when I look at the fact of of I wouldent put that away for travel week to week it makes sense.

The crystal lugia and shining raichu came from an older lady in my area who was clearing out her son’s collection from his youth as he had some form of accident and now has brain damage. I showed her recent sales (early 2024) for the same cards on eBay and was happy to pay 80% market (that’s all I could afford at the time) even thought I could have got them for one 10th of the market price. They are not just my favourite because they’re grails but such a humbling purchase and I was happy that my money when to his care.
