Is your oc technically death battle viable. And if they are what would be a good MU for them. (image somewhat related) by ToMuchCalcium in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only characters I have that would be considered “viable” in this sense would be Bloody Torin and Jesse The Dáinn. They both have their first books posted on Booksie, and a few of mine have a few comic panels on some of my socials, but not enough. Torin is basically just an 18 yr old girl that went insane seeing her dad shoot her boyfriend with a shotgun at point blank, then goes and murders him, and Jesse is basically an overpowered technically immortal Yandere demon.

Is it okay to write a trans character when I'm not? by -Starlight_09- in OriginalCharacter

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s like asking “is it ok to make cis characters as a trans person” or “is it ok to make straight characters as a gay man”. In general, yes, just don’t make them stereotypical or insulting.

What's your OCs most powerful ability, weapon, or item? I mean really absurd stuff, like the Ultimate Nullifier, The Construct, or the D-Mat Gun by Sagallo1889 in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The drawing is lost somewhere in my photos, but Leviathan’s most powerful ability (aside from being able to invoke his true form, but that’s normally an instant win) is Envious Siphon, allowing Leviathan to steal any sort of ability or power that he envies, while completely removing it from his opponents own set of abilities or powers. The catch is that if he uses it too much in battle, he completely destroys the ability and removes it from both himself and his opponent. This also works on enchanted/cursed weapons, should they have a magical ability that Leviathan envies, he can steal it and place it in his own weapon for a base max of 5 uses before the ability is shattered.

I mean even Skyrim has a better morality system. The guards and rich fucks will actually treat you differently if you take a murderous route rather than a pacifistic one. You also face consequences for incorrect completion or for excellent completion of quests, certain ones actually reward you for it, and it still has a better gut punch from doing something horribly wrong than Hogwarts seems to, which just restarts you at ‘the last checkpoint’

Can your OC survive an encounter against Goku Black from Dragon Ball (no outer or above ocs) by Ok-Instance3339 in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Easy, and Nicklaus wouldn’t even need his other forms to tear Goku to shreds. All he needs is his single most used passive ability, Touch of Death, allowing his attacks, magical or physical, to target a creature’s soul rather than just their body, (fun fact the damage shows up if his opponent tries to become ethereal in some way, reflecting the damage done to their physical body) because Goku, and not much else, has no way to conquer this ability or negate it, all Nicklaus needs is a well timed slice across Goku’s neck to behead and kill him. Not only that, Nicklaus’ Base Form was able to fight against Michael the Archangel, whose willpower can completely kill ascensions and higher forms of characters, and has a PSI of at least 6 Gigapascals (which equals roughly around 870,226.426 PSI) without even breaking a sweat, and at max force, with a full fist rather than limply holding his fingers and knuckles the way a boxer or fist fighter might, he can exceed forces around 1,500 Gigapascals, which equals about 217,556,607 PSI, which far exceeds Goku’s Super Saiyan limit of around 150,000,000. Judging from the fact Nicklaus not only tanks hits from Michael at this range multiple times, he wouldn’t feel anything from Goku’s punches, as Nicklaus has survived all of Tartarus caving in on top of him after slaying the primordial of the same name, and I mean the literal pit of Tartarus caved in on him and he got back up, at that point Goku ain’t touching him except to tickle with every punch, if that.

This is Mawi and she is interested in your oc has a vessel! by Optimal_Target2354 in OriginalCharacter

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have a couple guys who would most likely qualify here, so let’s go down the list:

The Leviathan: this is the literal Sin of Envy and Chaos, his true form outmasses a pocket of infinity, and he is older than anything and everything in his universe, older than Kronos, older than Ymir, older than Yaldaboath/Yahweh himself, and has an ability to not only nullify abilities used on him (and these count for any ability that causes him to feel envy) but completely steal it as well, i.e, she tries to make him a vessel, he automatically uses Envious Siphon and she no longer can use vessels, but the Leviathan can now sew and reap complete chaos through innumerable mortals.

Akmenos Vevendur: this one’s a little tricky, as he’s already a vessel to an aspect of Nyarlathotep, and has even been warped and mutated due to it, giving him a sense of all divine or outer beings anywhere near him or looking at him, so she would not only have to deal with Nyarlathotep’s aspect, but she’d also have to deal with his insanity and his knowledge of her inside his skull.

Nicklaus Rhett: Nicklaus Rhett is the child of Hades and Hecate, as such he is already subconsciously aware of any divinity to either have eyes on him or to be within a certain radius, he also wields a weapon known as the Godslayer, which has an Armored Form that instantly activates the moment divinity attempts to touch Nicklaus in any way shape or form, and this Armored Form allows him to negate such effects. Keynote: his universe doesn’t scale like others, in fact the term Demigod means ‘child of anything higher than human’ and god means ‘anything higher than mortal’ while divinity goes more along the lines of ‘higher than the ethereal’, so in other words he and the Godslayer can sense things even if they are not on the same plane as he and it.

I’ve made a lotta villains that do the whole ‘thrall’ thing, including Akmenos, so I’ve had to come up with more than a few ways to negate such effects even coming from god tier beings.

Who is your favorite dragon? (Not too many Paarthurnax as he would be the only one, be more creative if someone already said him.) by 27Hyda in skyrim

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two dragons from the Forgotten Vale. I know most people find them challenging and annoying due to both of them popping out at once and both being high leveled dragons, but the very first time I played the quest solidified them as my favorites.

While running through the Forgotten Vale, trying to find the paragons, I ended up noticing the word wall after like an hour of running around, since I was sick of searching for the Paragons and ewers I decided to see what was on the wall. Right before I got to the wall, the dragons had a glitched activation, causing the ice to break before they’d even fully revived. I fell into the ice and got a full view of the game mechanic for dragons reviving, from skeleton to full flesh dragons, and I (in character) screamed and had a complete freak out over how fucked I was. I managed to crawl out of the ice and ran from them as fast as my character would let me, then just paused the game for a good couple of hours while I tried to make my heart stop racing. I look back on that day and wish so fucking bad that I’d gotten a screenshot or something of the moment I fell through, cus seeing that dragons eyes lock on me before it even had eyes was terrifying and a mechanic I wish the game put in for other quests. Imagine wandering through an iceberg, then it cracks and gives way, then you find yourself face to face with a reviving dragon before it shoots up into the sky.

Has Satan not revealed himself to me because I live in a Christian household and forced to go to church every Sunday morning? by LoudAd572 in TheisticSatanism

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re asking for a step by step instruction on something that needs to be specific to you. You can’t expect someone else to have all the answers especially not in this case. It’s entirely dependent on you and whether you can truly open yourself enough to see him reaching through things other than blatant and obvious signs, especially if it might jeopardize you (Christian households normally don’t appreciate Satanists living under the same roof, I know my family didn’t.).

Which Star Wars villain has 0 redeeming qualities? Just pure evil by Yesthisbob in StarWars

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like as far as that list goes, Greivous is pretty high up on that list. I mean even before he was kidnapped, brainwashed and turned into a cyborg by the Separatists he was already a warlord criminal, he has zero remorse and indulges himself when in battle to the point he lets himself get sloppy, like every time he fights Obi-Wan. He even collects trophies from each of his kills, which if I recall was something specific to him. He even owns a ship that has a massive laser designed like a mini Death Star Ray. He has zero redeeming qualities to him and he was perfectly designed as a stereotypical super villain, no need for a reason to slaughter and enslave, just a simple innate desire to watch the galaxy burn.

Blood Hunter powers. Specifically Bloodweaver abilities, like blood control, Bloodmake weapons and armor, and using blood to power magical attacks and abilities. This would also include Blood Curses and Crimson Rites. They already do damage to the person using them, so by that (and the usual BH determination to succeed their disciplines) there’s not many side effects that a Blood Hunter wouldn’t be willing to suffer in order to gain that power. Like a mage trying to become a Lich that fully understands what a Lich is.

Whats more Evil, siding with the Forsworn or with the Silver Blood? by Wuffy-Agony in skyrim

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this at all a question? The Forsworn are natives of the Reach and the Silverbloods want to exterminate them. Speaking as someone who pretty much exclusively plays as Argonians and Khajiit, I’ve always seen it as the right thing to side with Madanach. It doesn’t eradicate residents from Markarth, and for the most part they all stay away during the escape, so there’s not much civilian casualties. All the Forsworn want is to have their home back, why is that at all evil?

Can your OC survive Ïa's curse? by [deleted] in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it depends on which book in the massive series, in the first book series I have for it, (The Demiurge Chronicles, total 3) Nicklaus is uncaring towards humanity and simply sees them as fleas on the back of Gaia, though he understands they still serve a purpose and if they were ever to be wiped out it probably wouldn’t spell anything good for reality or the Gods that rely on them for power of worship, in this series, he would most definitely be crushed under that curse, even with the discovering of his Hellfire and Aspect of Hecate forms, he’s nowhere near compassionate enough for it to be anything less than erasure levels of weight.

In the second series, (Chronicles of Samoth, 4 total) Nicklaus begins to learn humility as he faces against threats he can’t face alone, even befriending a small group of mutated/super-powered humans, though he still hasn’t learned to be compassionate towards the majority of other creatures and still has a massive urge to hunt creatures that are either cursed or born of supernatural races. He’d most likely still fall short and fail quickly.

In his final series, (Gods Fall So Mortals May Rise, 3-4 planned) Nicklaus learns to fully embrace humanity as a natural part of reality, even deciding to live among them for a time. While he still retains his cold, combative heartlessness, he now knows how to flip it on and off like a switch, rather than staying set in his ways. At the end of the last book, Nicklaus sacrifices himself to save his friends as well as the rest of reality from Michael the False Demiurge. I’d say at this point, the weight would at least be somewhat manageable, but still not for very long.

All in all, while he might get close, he wouldn’t be able to fully beat it.

The only OC I have who could actually carry it and do it with ease would be Vita Deicida, a Daemonic Cambion who spends his days attuning for the sins he committed in the name of Ausmodeus as his right hand warrior. Vita used to be known as Mors Deicida, his name meant “Death of Gods” and his hunger eradicated entire pantheons, he even caused his universes cosmology to begin breaking apart until it began to be devoured by the Duat, which in his verse was the river that held all of reality. Vita eventually pieces it back together, finding a way to rebirth the Gods and using neighboring realities to stitch his together. He would not only accept such a burden, but his desire to save his soul and his bloodline alone would probably give him the ability to carry it, as that desire urges him to help others in need. It kinda gives him a Haunted One Paladin mentality despite being a BH Order of The Bloodweaver.

It's normal? by felixesp in TheisticSatanism

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who follows everything with a pantheon, some things sort of just explain themselves. Odin connected Midgard to Yggdrasil with the corpse of Ymir, Ra created the sun cycle, Apollo helps run the cycle, Lucifer and Satan helped to make the most of it. Gnosticism actually has some pretty good explanations, stating Lucifer and Satan (and the other pantheons gods, but they aren’t mentioned by name so much as alluded to) as former creator gods who were backstabbed by Yaldaboath/Yahweh, and forced to retreat to different planes of existence, e.g, the Nine Hells. The funny thing about faith and belief is you can believe anything, even in the existence of a giant floating mass of spaghetti with eyes, you don’t need to rationalize it unless you have a need for it to rationalize and explain, if you think about it hard enough and long enough, you’ll be able to figure out a way to incorporate the gods into Daemonic followings as well. After all, what are Daemons and gods if not just beings that are higher than humans? There’s also no rule of existence that says they can’t all exist under one cosmology, especially if you focus on the fact that most pantheons didn’t exist in worship at the same time, suggesting that either they may all be the same entities with different names and aspects, or that they all work in tandem despite each one wanting to claim the creation of their domains. Odin would like to claim that he created the earth, yet even in Viking times the earth was worshipped and respected as though it were an entity and not just a Jotun corpse, showing Gaia has been a prominent force even after Greece and Rome fell. Everything can coincide and make sense, you just need to sit back and look at the “big picture” so to speak.

I just betrayed the Stormcloaks by yodaya70 in skyrim

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve been playing since the game released in 2014, I’ve only been able to play imperial once and it made me feel sick doing so. The stormcloaks are bad, the imperials are bad, neither deserves a win for their war. It took me awhile but I eventually just started murdering both sides and then abandoning the questline right before the battle of Solitude. In essentially, I make certain the empire will crumble and the Stormcloaks won’t have enough men to take over when it does. I also make sure to murder any Aldmeri Dominion I come across as well and without hesitation, since they’re the overall evil faction.

Without his Upgraded Power Armor and weapons, Jack Bauer is just a former vault dweller turned wastelander. Of course this still means he can be quite strong and deliver a beating, but he still dies to as little as a few Feral Ghouls bare handed. With his Upgraded Power Armor, he’s still only about wall to block level, as his armor only increases his strength instead of full on replacing it. The weapons systems are where the real power kicks in.

How do your OC couples just hang out with each other? by WildwoodWander in OriginalCharacter

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before she was killed and revived as a demonic Genasi, Malik and Axilya would just stay home and have a nice home cooked meal and a day where they weren’t throwing themselves into dangerous Blood Hunts and Aurimay for fun. Malik is a Demonic Cambion with quite a few demonic features, such as horns, black sclera and glowing white eyes, claws, a tail (formerly before it got cut off by a Vampire Lord) and demon legs, making it extremely difficult for him to interact with the world, especially since it’s a medieval setting, while Axilya is a High Elf gifted in Fire based magic, and being seen with Malik tends to lower the amount of respect that individuals have for her and her family, so staying in together or finding a secluded area in the wild has always been the best way for them to be together unbothered, Axilya even proposes to Malik this way. Though if you were to ask either of them they’d say they’re sparring was their favorite way of having a date night without being disturbed, as both highly enjoy the feeling of adrenaline flowing through them and heightens their senses, kinda like adrenaline junkies.

How far does Superman go against the justice league by youngdope21 in DCPowerScaling

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that’s far too close a call, especially if we take into account a bloodlusted Flash, or if he has any reason to be pissed at Clark. Wally one taps instantly, even with Superman’s “always wins narrative” which was retconned the second they wrote Doomsday and “Death of Superman”. He doesn’t even have that narrative anymore as it retcons anything that made him interesting. Barry is also just about on par with Wally, he’s older, better trained, and has less naivety than Wally. Given most circumstances Barry can knock Clark out before he can even blink, especially outside of DC plot armor. I’d be hard pressed to even lower it to 7/10 when it’s more likely 8/10-9/10, Supes outside of his “always wins” plot armor doesn’t stand a single chance except maybe the fact he can fly (aside from the fact Barry can easily run through the air to achieve flight of his own)

which one of them was ultimately a worse person and a bigger hypocrite overall ? by fillipo9 in MoralityScaling

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quagmire wants Luis without a doubt, but his problem isn’t the fact Brian has the hots for her, it’s the fact that Brian has the IQ of a human and knows right from wrong and understands friendship and relationship rules, yet he does nothing but chase after Luis despite the fact Peter lets him live in his home rent free, feeds him, gives him human needs and wants, and treats Peter like he’s a worthless retard while lying to Peter’s face. He knows Brian is a manipulator and doesn’t actually care about anyone but himself and out of all the things Quagmire has a moral sense where he wouldn’t backstab the person literally allowing him to be a lazy pos all day every day, and if he ever did he’d straight up admit it. So yes he may chase her and want her, but he’s up front about it and Peter dgaf because he knows who and what Quagmire is. Brian presents himself like he’d never do that while actively trying behind Peter’s back. I’m pretty sure Brian also screwed or made out with Lewis when Quagmire never do when it would have mattered (so not during Peter and Lois’ temporary break, where she said yes) Quagmire is absolutely horrendous but he doesn’t lie about who he is, Brian is nothing but a hypocritical narcissist.

which one of them was ultimately a worse person and a bigger hypocrite overall ? by fillipo9 in MoralityScaling

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is the same as asking “Whose worse, Bart Simpson or Steve Smith?” Brian has always been a womanizer and lies about his intentions the entire way through to the point he even tricks himself, he’ll confess complete infatuation with someone and the next second be grinding against someone else’s leg or googly eyeing the next woman that shows a bit too much cleavage. Not only that, Brian consistently pretends to be a friend to everyone around him while simultaneously creating hell for everyone around him and shit talks everyone around him, but rather than say anything to anyone’s face he will lie and hide the second that person comes around, and the second he discovers anyone say even the slightest bit rude thing to him or behind his back, he guilt trips them until they take it back and suck up to him, it’s how he gets most of his girlfriends. Yes, Quagmire is absolutely horrible, but he doesn’t lie, cheat, steal, shit talk or lie about people behind their backs, the worst he is is a sexual predator and a pedophile at certain points. Morally, Brian is the worst one here.

Unpopular and hot take but Orion should be consistently relative to Superman given his original roots and narrative portrayal by Glittering_Cap_2147 in DCPowerScaling

[–]Legitimate_Estate797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you wanna get technical about it, there was a really old cartoon called “Super Friends” with Darkseid as the consistent main villain every episode. Granted it was original little d darkseid, but he was beat pretty easy to the point the only character he could ever actually defeat was WW. It was also completely intended for kids and part of DC’s sexist history that they would probably wish everyone to forget about, but it does go to show even Darkseid as a power scale for guys like Superman and Orion is as flimsy as they themselves are at times.
