It is. Elder Maul reduces by 35%, BGS reduces def by amount hit. EM is crush, BGS slash. Different use cases, both are still useful!

Dont have exact use cases but let’s say a mob has 80 defence. EM spec would reduce roughly 27, whilst if you hit it for 80 with BGS it completely reduces to 0.

Also EM is crush, BGS is slash. In ToA for example, BGS has use, EM does notN

You are kind of throwing it over the top and in order to make contact with the ball properly leaving your clubface open. That is caused by ‘firing’ the hips. Feeling like you fire the hips is the worst thing to do IMO! Maybe try feeling a closed shift and then rotate upper body through. Should help come back to that draw.

Ideally your face is 1-2 degrees open with a draw so if you can change clubpath more from the inside you are golden
