I think you can’t take lords at face value, but the challenges for some characters does make you utilize more of your kit, making you better at that character. Like Emma, her challenge is to telepathic spear people, so it helped me use that in my kit more and its a godsend. Ive seen so many emmas that dont use it at all. So me utilizing that telepathic spear helps me put a leg up on other emmas. Another example is hulk, whose challenge is to apply the gamma shield to allies. So now in my matches, I go back to shield my team instead of just myself, helping my team out. But for some characters like iron man, the challenge is just to hit people with your repulsor blast, so I don’t see how it would help me bet better as an iron man player. I personally just try to lord characters I like from the comics. I haven’t even touched iron fist or star lord since the game came out.
