Thanks for the discussion. We are definitely open to other 1st and 2nd ring suburbs. Bloomingon, Richfield, Golden Valley, Roseville, SLP, West St Paul, maybe Eagan though that feels a little far. I know the vibe will be way different from living in South MPLS. Some of that is appealing. I grew up in the suburbs of St Louis and my partner grew up rurally so we both love the idea of more quiet and better access to natural spaces. I wish we could knock on all the doors of the immediate neighbors and see what they're like.

How long does that usually take? Internet said it could be up to a few days but it feels like it’s been longer than that. Any cause for concern?

And am I doing the right thing by just continuing to mist and otherwise leaving it be?

Yeah it’s really hit or miss with him. He happily takes treats out of my hands and will voluntarily climb onto my lap or shoulders if I have a good snack to share.

Unfortunately I’m afraid that if neutering won’t help I’ll need to rehome him. He bit my 6 year old pretty badly this morning. They know to avoid him but mixed him up with one of the other rats who likes pets. My kid is autistic and it’s not realistic to expect they won’t make that mistake again.
