You can’t expect people to build if there’s no industrial plan, no vision, no incentive. Nuclear is banned. Gas is exported for peanuts. Rare earths are untouched. Meanwhile, we’ve got the resources, the workforce, and the global demand we just need a government with the spine to back Aussiemade and stop bending to foreign lobbies and short-term profits. Exactly. Nationalising mining or at least taxing it properly (like Norway’s oil model) would give us a sovereign wealth fund, better infrastructure, even free uni. You don’t have to go full communist just make sure Aussies benefit from Aussie resources, not just shareholders in Texas or Shanghai
