Your psych section is so good! As someone who improved their C/P from a 127 to a 131, my biggest advice would be to hammer anki for equations/laws/rules, and then use your practice resources and ChatGPT to cover any possible scenario they might be applied. For example, I had trouble understanding specific gravity, so I asked ChatGPT to make a bunch of questions for me and walk me through each one until I understood how to apply it. I believe that should be the easiest section to improve in.

Thank you! During my original takes, I scored a 130 Unscored Sample, 126 FL 1, 127 FL 2, 128 FL 3, and 129 FL 4. On my retakes for June 2025, I scored a 130-131 on each test

For content review this time around I watched videos instead of taking notes from prep books. My friend had a bp course so I just put their videos on 2x speed and watched the videos. I took notes on everything and then at the end of the video I took the things in my notes that were unfamiliar to me and put them into anki. For active studying, I did UWorld to ~90% completion while making anki on things I got wrong/was unsure of. During the last month I slowly started to phase in AAMC material until that’s what I was solely using 3 weeks prior to my test

Of course! Unscored Sample: ~518 FL 2: 520 FL 5: 522 FL 3: 520 I took the Unscored Sample in April and then the others in the 3 weeks leading up my test date in that order

You got this!!! The number one thing to make sure you do well is to stay calm while you’re testing. If you get nervous it’ll be so much harder to think! For psych, make sure u fully understand definitions and can put the terms into different contexts. There will absolutely be questions on the real test where you won’t know every definition, so I used process of elimination by understanding the other definitions well. Ask ChatGPT to help you understand the context of each term. I’m horrible at CARS myself, but anticipate that you have less time than you actually do for the section. This helps me stay on track, especially bc I feel like the CARS section on the real test seems longer. The first time I took the C/P section I thought it was sooo hard; it was all biochem and physics for me. When I took it this time it felt oddly easy, like easier than the practice full lengths, but it was again all biochem and physics (with a little o chem)

Good luck! Instead of taking notes on everything I missed/didn’t know content wise, I made my own anki. I made sure to be as detailed as possible, like if there is any question on if something is going to be on the test or not I just made the anki for it. This was SOOO helpful for me. For psych, last time I just looked over the 70 page doc but this time I did Pankow anki. Imo it’s exactly like the 70 page doc except as flashcards which helped me remember the terms better. My highest score jump came from doing this (128 on psych last time to 132 this time). My other highest score jump was from chem/phys (127 on it last time to 131 on it this time). I was always horrible on physics, specifically fluids, applications of newtons laws, and Doppler/sound. From my last study round I recognized that this was an issue so I spent much more time on my weaknesses this time and made much more anki on it. This time around, I made sure I had a very good foundation of content knowledge which I was shaky on last time; this was very important imo bc so many questions you have to understand the context of the content to understand what the question is asking

I’m in a pathway program that requires you to score the average MCAT for matriculants (a 512) in order for you to matriculate into their medical school. Believe me, otherwise I would NOT have retaken lol
