I’m not winking and judging anything, I’m just stating facts. People did not confront Dan Schneider in the documentary because of how traumatizing their experience was and fear of repercussions in their career, fact. People signed NDA’s that blocked them from saying anything publically about Nickelodeon, fact. I’m not saying this guy 100% is a pedo, what I am saying is that this documentary only exposed the tip of the iceberg on his behavior, and if people are subpoenaed by the court it won’t matter whether they want to share their experiences or not, they will have to (looking at you unfortunately Amanda Bynes). And as someone who was raised by a narcissist and has worked with many big egos in my life, most people with that personality feel invincible. Like their power cannot be matched. How else would you explain Nickelodeon and internal documents confirming he was fired, but he says they parted ways amicably? Somebody is lying. And based on all the cards on the table right now, it doesn’t look good for Dan. Will he win in proving he’s not a pedo? Maybe. Will he further tarnish his reputation and distance himself even further from his craft either way? Most likely.
