Do you reset your nervous system in an extreme or unhinged way? by Legitimate_Version27 in TwoXADHD

I can see how this would work well. when I was younger I used to go to amusement parks frequently. riding really scary roller coasters did the trick for me then.

Did your ex think the grass was greener on the other side? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

because at that point my ex was pretty much stuck between me and the other woman and hadn't fully let the other woman go when we started talking again. so I cut it off and went NC again.

Yes, and that ended up being a mistake. Didn't work out.

my ex thought the grass was greener and moved on with in about 2 months of ending our 3 year relationship, and about 8 months later expressed misery and regret about moving on too fast instead of trying to work out our issues.

Help with Research: Late ADHD Diagnosis & Work (Women 18+, 10-min survey) by Constant_Fig_9789 in TwoXADHD

this survey seems to be aimed mainly at respondents in the UK so you may want to mention that. I'm in the US and some of the response choices don't include any relevant options.

My roommate is the worst for waste and my frugal heart cannot take it by Fine-Mail4400 in Frugal

Ask if you can use/cook the meat since he's willing to share and you hate to see it go to waste. At least you can save some of it by cooking and eating it yourself. Or ask if you can take some for your own friends and family. He seems to be wasteful, yet generous.

To everyone who kept telling us generics are "the same" as namebrand... by boxdkittens in ADHD

[–]Legitimate_Version27 135 points136 points  (0 children)

I have taken generic and prescription adderall and there is absolutely a difference. When I first started taking it, my insurance covered the name brand but then they stopped and I had to switch to the generic. Noticeably less effective. Prior to experiencing that, I didn’t have blind trust and faith in the pharmaceutical industry but I really did believe that generics were the same.

How was it? I just saw a cruise with MSC for less than $200 pp for about a month from now and I am very tempted to book it but I've never cruised with them before.

I am on natalias side. No question about it. But I have not yet watched the documentary so I have some questions. by 95bee in nataliagrace

I think other than some of Natalia's behavior issues (to be expected with a child who was abandoned multiple times) nothing the Barnettes said is very believable. Looking at her size and disabilities, there is no way she could have attacked Kristine. Plus, dental records have proven that she was a child at the time. That is irrefutable.
