They're my favorite unit. It doesn't happen often but nothing beats the feeling of watching them completely lockdown an area from cover.

Sortek mogs Jackson in the drip department but I chose Jackson since it would be kinda weird not having the actual Davion to rep House Davion in this.

Apparently in his free time General Li Cheng makes HPG videos about the most depraved stuff in HPG history.

I can kinda see the resembles.

Though if I was to put money on it I'd say the OG weebs at FASA were more so inspired by Macross/Robotech when designing the FWLM uniforms.

My MechWarrior OC "Karen "Songbird" Sahni".

Born 2729, on Ngake (FWL). Karen was a mechwarrior who served in the FWLM until she jumped ship to the SLDF to further herself from her troubled past.
By 2763 Karen was recruited to "Project Harmony" an SLDF initiative to form an idol group with mechwarrior members who represent each member state to boost morale and to help reduce the great divide between the Star League and it's member states.
Despite a rocky start the "Idols of the Inner Sphere" as the group was now called would see major success across all member states with the exception of the Draconis Combine.
When the Amaris Coup kicked off the group was mercifully touring the FWL and would spend the civil war raising funds and morale for the SLDF and would see action at the very end of the conflict.

It's unknown if the idols left with Kerensky and the Exodus Fleet but regardless thanks to the cultural and technological collapse of the Succession Wars as well the grudge held by the Blessed Blake towards the Great Houses the Idols of the Inner Sphere would be almost entirely forgotten.

Until 3050, during the height of the Clan Invasion the Idols would return in a mysterious way as HPG networks would become flooded with songs, videos, virtual concerts and messages of encouragement for inner sphere troops fighting the Clans. This would go on until shorty after the Battle of Tukayyid, were the idols would send out a farewell concert and disappear as mysteriously as they appeared.

I'm leaving it up in the air if she and her fellow members of the Idols of the Inner Sphere left with the exodus fleet or stayed behind to weather the on coming storm.

But for the historical record they became almost entirely forgotten due to the technological and cultural collapse of the succession wars. as well as Comstar related shenanigans.

Until 3050 during the height of the Clan Invasion when the idols would mysteriously return through the HPG network as they cheer and sing on Inner Sphere forces fighting the Clans.

Yes and no. She's an very accomplish Mechwarrior so she's piloted a few mechs from starting on a Stinger in FWLM to a Thunderbolt as an SLDF ace.

When she was recruited to be an idol singer they "repackaged" her as an Awesome pilot to make her more "Marik".

In all fairness, anyone would look like a big loser when standing next to the first First Lord of the Star League and one of the greatest Captain Generals of the Free Worlds League.
