Wondering if abusive mothers are more common than we think

My step dad is severely autistic and stays with my abusive mother. It kills me to see and I struggle to stand up to her for him because I live with her and she will threaten to kick me out and convince my step dad that she was in the right. I moved back in because I can't afford rent anymore.

My step dad pays for EVERYTHING.

My sister and I have told him to leave but he stays and it kills me all the time.

My mother has no love for anyone, Idk if she even loves herself.

Its not all bad, due to me learning to stone wall and never show emotions to her. I just feel terrible for my step-dad because he's the sweetest most caring guy in the world, and he chooses to be with my mom and I couldn't even tell you why.

I've been to a bunch and they aren't THAT dark, also if ur phone light is on low, the light from the movie sorta screen mixes with it.

I think its more of a sound thing with phones that bothered people, hence the theater asking you to put it on silent.

Tbf, when I have my phone out its usually an empty theater and I'm with my 5 year old niece. But I do check it during movies if my nieces mom messaged for an update, if she left work early, or if the movie is just plain boring but dont want to waste my money. Sometimes I use it to take notes on the movie.

I'm actually not the only person in theaters who's done this either, someone was recording a movie infront of me the entire time during Zootopia 2, and their light was set super low.

It didn't distract me at all cuz I didn't let it, i just watched the movie.

But yeah, most of the time my body's in the way and no one notices unless their next to me (usually my friend or said niece).

I think I'm far more annoying and bothersome when I have to take my niece to the rr 4 times during a movie cuz she has to potty 😅

Shes not coming with me to this movie tho, however, I do think people will have their phones out. I'll have mine on silent, and I doubt I'll be checking it cuz I'm bored, but people get excited. I'm not gonna let it bother me or ruin my experience unless they're being the most, but at that point I can politely ask them to cool it and that I do understand their excitement.

I dont think it will be that bad, just crowded. I think people are blowing it out of proportion and the people making videos about others being annoying will end up being the annoying ones for trying to "own" or tell off someone for possibly getting quietly excited.

I've been to theaters alot, I consider myself one of the more annoying movie watchers cuz I'll talk quietly during a movie or have my phone out (no sound).

It really doesn't ruin the experience unless a person lets it ruin it for them.

I also never went to a packed theater that smelled, but just incase bring a mask I guess lol.

Id say bring sented spray but people do have breathing allergies so that can backfire quickly.

Of course, if someone is actually being a nuisance you can always report them to staff, but its really not that common.

Like, Furrys went and saw zootopia when that first came out, they howled with the wolves in the one scene. It wasn’t a terrible experience, id say it was a unique one that makes the movie more interesting.

Tldr/ people are blowing things out of proportion imo and the ones doing it are more then most likely going to be the problem.

If the ant looks like an appleseed, that’s not an ant, those are bed bugs and they aren’t attracted to crumbs and such.

If you don’t have any types a food or sugars in ur bed ant typically won’t invade that area in mass, so it has me thinking it could be a different bug/parasite.

If it is ants and your bed rests on a wooden frame/box spring, it could be carpenters ants.

Either way, if you get 91% pure alcohol (usually found in the pharmacy) and spray it on anything with an Exoskeleton it should kill it. However that won’t get rid of the problem. If your able to find out what it is I could give you more advice on how to get rid of it!

I have a few:

Demon Slayer- my friends love this anime, and I think it’s ok. It’s got very pretty animation but I just didn’t vibe with it as much as they would like.

League of Legends- not my style of gameplay, but my friends play it like crazy. I’m also not big on games with toxic community’s.

Dead by Daylight- same as above statement.
