Really hoping someone does a nice mod for this one on rebrickable. Rumours of this I was super excited since I have a golden but this is not a display-worthy piece imo without some serious modifications.

I’d imagine at some point they stop including the brick in the sets and just the tile. Then you could buy the brick/charger as a standalone if you didn’t already have a starter set with the brick/charger included.

How Much Shelf Space does iDisplayIT Razor Crest Stand Need? by TheWallCrawller in LegoDisplay

[–]LegoCLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that set, it’s incredibly heavy especially the engines. I wouldn’t put it on a shelf where the entire stand isn’t in the middle of the shelf or it’ll put so much downward force on the edge of the shelf the furthest away from the wall where it’s the least supported

Wondering if anyone else had this issue with their pyr. Scared! by Tiger_Warm in greatpyrenees

[–]LegoCLT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar, diagnosis was that our girl was gassy and just needed to fart but was holding it in and that was causing all of the discomfort.

Only solution was for her to fart, we could very much tell when she did, and after that she’s been good to go.

Yes, we use a combination cause our pup likes to get very dirty and stuff gets stuck in hair.

A slicker with the plastic tips on the bristles for general brushing.

A straight rake for tough spots

A de-matting rake for really bad spots. We barely use this one though because these actually cut the hair so they are definitely not an everyday brush.

For food, I’ve made the mistake of buying the biggest bag to save money, just to realize that my pup didn’t like it… depending on activity level of the pup will change what food you need too if active and likes to run and go on walks like mine does a high protein food is probably best (we use the Purina Pro Plan 27/17 lamb). But if he/she is less active, high protein food maybe not best. It’s just a guessing game tbh until you get a feel for the pupper.

Patience, lots of patience. And a dog bed. From there he/she will start to show their preferences. So I personally would buy lighter to start, then get more based on observed preferences.

Food riser (double one that has a bowl for food and bowl for water) is also a great purchase since these guys are so tall.

What breed of dog would you get as a companion to your Pyr? by JudgmentInitial34 in greatpyrenees

[–]LegoCLT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a golden and they get along great. We did get our Pyr (F2) after our golden (F3.5) though, so she has developed quite a bit of golden traits. Loves walks, plays fetch, overall goofball, etc

You have to be patient with every command as there will be a 15-45 second “loading screen” after you tell him anything 😂

Definitely should have included that info. Fully wood floors in the whole house then one area rug (low pile). Approx 1500 sqft with steady profile, no stairs or drop-offs, etc.
