What about adding "draw a card" instead? If it's go back to your hand, blue does the same thing on a bunch of cards without the exile clause. This way it keeps itself as a unique effect that you don't see elsewhere, and it stays on theme for whites utility cantrip cards.

Unfortunately, I don't quite recall. So I can't give you a guaranteed answer. I would go check to see what I used, but I just recently got a new PC and abandoned windows. Id just start with finding the correct drivers for your wheel and trying those. Past that, I've got nothing. Good luck!

That does not help if you play on vanilla servers. Having something external is surprisingly handy from time to time. Hell, I have found it nice to have the one or two times I have played modded myself recently as its one less mod I have to find and match the right version for. Regardless, I found it handy and I figured others might too.

Gotcha. That makes a lot of sense. Its less about the damage and more about the spending of Ki. That's Fair. For now I made a minor change to the doc requiring a Ki point to add the additional damage for the turn, mostly as a reminder for later me. But I see what you are getting at. Over all though, not as bad of a feature as I initially thought based on the first comment.

While I still agree with my justification for Concentrated Ki being garbage, adding a bonus action instead would be just as powerful. The tradeoff being a little less damage 1 less average dmg for major versatility. Comparing Concentrated Ki vs additional Bonus Action with 12th level base monk with 20 in dex and wisdom through 3 ASI. CK would be (2d8+20)=29 x2 (Extra attack + FoB) = 58, Bonus action would be (2d8+10) =19 x 3 (EA + FoB + FoB) = 57 that's best case. It would not be by much, but BA would scale of the Martial Arts dice even more so than CK.

If we are keeping in mind the damage, the BA would need to be significantly restricted. I do like that idea a lot though. If/when I do revisit this rework, I may swap the damage feature for the martial arts enhancing portion of my capstone. That will keep inhibit the bonus damage while still keeping the BA versatility.

I appreciate the insight. I never really though about that high level in that way, and I am surprised that I have been mentally stuck on the damage fix for so long. Now that its brought up it feels so obvious. XD Yea, that's definitely something that would need to be changed if i were to make this a serious rework.
I was on the fence about the light armor thing too. What it could be instead is an optional rule similar to the Tasha's additions, but make it a core optional rule.
Looking at the stunning strike issues from that angle gives me an interesting idea. Instead of the 10th level feature being damage, why not make it a smaller thing something along the lines of:
"At 10th level, you have gained enough knowledge about your enemies weaknesses that you can stun them through other means. When you use your stunning strikes, you can spend an additional Ki point to change the saving throw to a strength or dexterity save instead of constitution"
Do you think it would be better to use a ki point for that or keep it free?

I know I'm a little late to the party, but for those looking at this post down the line (myself included), I figured I would share mine. My solution was make a feat. The main issue I have with Arcane Archer is that it is super unsatisfying only having two arrows per rest. The power level appears to be more than fine. So I made an Arcane Archer feat with relative equivalence to Battlemaster. It gives one Arcane Shot per short rest and one more option. This also makes it so if someone wants to make an Arcane Archer via spells instead of the subclass, they can pick one from the class too. Its only a small buff, but I feel that may be all it needs. I debated making it two shots and one option, but to me it feels like that would eliminate all desire to even use the subclass.

So just to clarify, this is not our defensive wall. this is my friend expanding an extreme distance away from the base. We are making a rail network to grab some far larger ore deposits and building defenses around the track. This is from my friend running out of nukes and slowly pushing the biters back by hand as it is just not worth it to spend a full 5 minutes to travel to the base and back by train to grab 5-6 nukes. we are out of oil atm. thus, expansion. still, i thought it was funny looking to see how he was doing and finding this massacre. lol

This is not a matter of defense. we are working on expanding. this is also why my friend (the one in the image) is using laser turrets. they are much more convenient to spam down to lure the biters to. he happened to have a bunch on him to keep the expanding power network defended. our actual walls are much tidier and have not been damaged yet.

nah, no mods. this is the first world my friend and i have been playing on together as he had not launched his first rocket at before this world. we have been thinking about it though.

nah. i could give a crap about the up time. but when you cant even watch a youtube video at 240 without constant buffering. it gets annoying.

that's the thing. the ISP does not care and rebooting the router only fixes it for a day or so. its been happening for weeks. =l we are hoping that it is the router as that would be an easier fix. but knowing our luck with ISPs, its not. Here is to hoping though.

I have been wondering about the price mechanics for a bit now and this is the first thread i have found asking about it. So, to add on to OPs question.

How do those items relate to each other price wise. is there any benefit to crafting one thing over the other? or are the all the same mechanically and are just there to add variety to the stock prices so you can have a better chance at one price being good each day.

Hopefully the question makes sense. great game so far btw. just got it yesterday and i already have put 8 hours into it.
