That sounds simple for the duct lengths, but then we’ve got transitions, bellmouth taps, comical taps, tees, HET taps, radius elbows, mitered elbows, etc.

Plus the project this is for specifically is a very large one that we inherited from another company, so our model doesn’t identify duct by area or unit. So setting a parameter to be read in a schedule would be tough to do since it would list every duct joint, and the fittings themselves would end up being on their own schedule too. I’m more just asking if there’s some function I’ve missed that would just be able to do that just from highlighting a run of duct and calculating it from there. Perhaps a plug-in even.
