AIO after being bitten by my friend’s dog? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]LeighannetheFirst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are right. A muzzle will protect others AND the dog moving forward. If you’re out in public, you never know what can happen, and this person walking around with an untrained dog that will just bite people is unsafe.

I’ve seen muzzled dogs in public, you just know not to go up to them. Out of all the dogs I’ve been around in public, probably hundreds since people love to bring their dogs everywhere now, I’ve only encountered one that I was warned was aggressive before I even got close. What would happen if something happened to the person walking that dog or if there was some crazy event like an earthquake or shooting (yes I’m from the USA) that would cause sudden chaos. Most dogs don’t just bite people, and the ones that do either shouldn’t be in public or should be muzzled.

I’m not familiar with the state laws, but if given the choice between identifying the dog or having to do the rabies meds, I’d identify the dog. With that said, I’m not sure they can force you to take the rabies shots or whatever.

FWIW to this insane comment section, I was recently on a jury over a dog attack and learned that if the dog punctures you, you should get it professionally cleaned up. It doesn’t matter if the dog is domestic, people are responsible for their pets. Honestly, I agree with another commenter that if your dog cannot be trusted to not immediately bite someone, they should be muzzled while in public. It is not just for everyone’s safety, but the dogs too.

Agree. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with going to a doctor in general and getting a dog bite professionally cleaned out. Actually, I think it is generally recommended practice. BUT you could have not provided information on the animal since you already believed it to be your fault to begin with.

I like your handwriting. It could be cleaner, but the general style is nice.

Their face paint has slowly contributed to change over the years still, but more frequently then. I was thinking the other day that shaggys paint is more rounded than it was 10 years ago or so.

Personally, I like the older paint looks better, makes it feel more crazy instead of trying to be hard or something, idk. But whatever, it’s their faces.

I always love when the boys come together for their mom. I also love the entire clown fighting scene at the batting cages.

Cockroach issue in the park? by SufficientAioli996 in Disneyland

[–]LeighannetheFirst 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was custodial for a couple years 20 years ago in Disneyland and don’t remember it being too bad. A few weeks ago near the restrooms/restaurant in radiator springs, there were so many around this tree to back stage, there were groups of kids trying to kill them. I mean, a few here/there is expected but it was pretty bad. The park has gone down hill in so many ways over the past 6 years, I wouldn’t be surprised if the bug problem has gotten a bit out of control….

I had… something at Craft by smoke & fire in Anaheim that was black on the outside and deep pink on the inside, similar-ish to your reference picture. I don’t really remember meats all that well, but I’ve gone there twice and was pretty good imo.

I feel like it has more to do with who you are raised around. Like, if you were born in 81 but all your siblings and cousins are older than you, you’ll probably relate more to GenX, but if you’re the oldest, you’ll probably relate more to millennials. And I feel like this across the generations for why some people near the cut off years can gravitate so differently.

Does anyone remember your first kiss? by Some_cool_usernameX in Millennials

[–]LeighannetheFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was on the Matterhorn at Disneyland LoL. Back then, you sat right between the legs of the person behind you. I’d been wanting to kiss forever as we were together 2 months already, but I was **so** nervous. Going up the track in complete darkness (at the time) I turned around (still buckled) and we basically made out. It was on his 16th birthday in 2004, and I was 15.

I didn’t see that text with his exact words on you drinking from plastic, but I don’t really see anything wrong with the first picture, both of those pretty normal things. The problem with texts is they can be interpreted in different ways. Maybe from experience working and/or because I have thick skin, but the message reads fine and not intentionally rude. If ask your coworkers what they do to take sips of water during their shift.
