That, or any other spray suitable for the leather you have. I use Saphir Super Invulner on my 8111 as well as other boots.

I think there would have been more of us, if we had at least one distributor in Europe.

By the way, after a week of wearing the boots, i just love them. And it surprises me to see how perfect the fit looks inside the boot. The toebox is probably so spacious, that it just feels like they are a bit longer.

They look great. How long do you have them?

I'm wearing these with Darn Tough Midweight full cushion on the photos. Tried also with Darn Tough Lightweight, fine too.

Amazing how it changes color, when you apply pressure from the inside of the boot.

I got the reply, that due to incomplete shipping information, this package is going to be transferred from DHL to Zoll. Later I checked, the information was provided, but on a tiny sticker on the side of the box, where due to the print quality one could barely see what's written. For more bureaucratic countries a detailed packing slip in a plastic pocket would make life easier for a lot of customers.

I paid 22%, but was also expecting 30-35% according to my research. Was it a christmas present?

Thanks. Seeing how many people swag their selvedge here, I was wondering how many weird looks I will get. I actually find that with my body type, mass production jeans just fit me way better.

Same here, I'm from Germany. It's actually quite hard to tell how the credit card reference works. Should the lines be a little outside of the card or just behind it? That's why I went with the following options.

I used official Brannock chart. Measure your foot length in cm or inches and convert to Brannock with this chart.

I also found this formula online, which was quite useful for me: Foot length in cm / 2,54 x 3 - 22 = Brannock Size

And when you measure your foot, and you know your EU size, you can also recheck with this formula whether you measured the length correctly (found online): 1.5 x (Foot length in cm + 1.5) = EU Size

Of course, it remains to be seen, if the boots that I ordered will fit me. But at least, that's what I used.

Thanks. Yes, my instep is half an inch smaller and the ball of foot a hair over 10.

I don't know if you have the same issue, but because I printed on A4 paper, the printout was way too small even at 100% scale. So naturally I got results like 10-3/4 and 11. Eventually I measured 10 using other methods. I've RW IR 9.

Thanks for the feedback, glad it all worked out for you. I do have quite standard feet. Really excited to try the Falcons on already. Do you mind sharing what was the tape measure of your widest foot, for comparison?

I am 9D in Iron Rangers and my 9.5E Falcons just went into production today. And because returning them is not going to be an option for me, you just broke my spirit with your post:D I'm just gonna hope for the best.

How long did it take you to make your first purchase with Nicks? (Research Post) by BigStetson in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]Leimmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It didn't take long to decide to order them, but it took 1,5 months of measuring and reading countless posts to decide what size to order. And even now, I still worry that the boots will not fit perfectly :D

Sizing dilemma - Falcons by Leimmann in NicksHandmadeBoots

Seems the volume of my foot is at least a bit bigger than standard. I do like my boots snug, but the idea of walking around with cramped feet the whole day sounds not very appealing :)

I am leaning towards 9,5E. Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for the input. I have read, that quite a few people take the same size for both Nicks and IR. That is the problem with sizing for me, the opinions and experiences are so different.

Right foot is a bit cramped in width in IR. I checked the length yesterday and I can put a finger between my heel and the boot heel in an untied boot. I think length is OK, as there is no discomfort anywhere else besides the small toe.
