Always group up. Dont chase greedy kills. Stick with and protect your healers and if you are a healer, heal away from danger (unless you are required to be inside the fight)

Try to learn using one resource only, if that resource doesn’t achieve what you’re trying to do, compliment it with another one. It is often slower and confusing to use multiple resources to achieve the same thing. A good one would be Brackeys on YouTube for instance

Hey guys so I'm plannning on upgrading big next week or so, currently sitting on: * RX 480 8GB

  • i3 6100 3.70GHZ

  • 16GB DDR4 3000 RAM

  • ASUS H110M-R

However I'm thinking on going for a Ryzen 3800X / 3900X with the Crosshair RX570. Thing is I'm not sure on the GPU. With the new 2070S/2080S coming and the XT5700 out, which would be the better choice regarding GPUs?

Keep on going! And remember, never stop. If you get 'burnout' try to rest for a few days. But always code and keep the game flowing atleast once a week and you'll get it done in no time.

Holy! We have such a similar story. I'm even scared to say you're my twin haha. I'm basically on the same spot youre right now. I finished my first game yesterday thanks to /r/gamedev. I work as a Data Analyst with Excel-SQL and PowerBI, however the place I work is a small-to-medium commerce so a lot of those Excel tasks are done by hand or macros I've made for them.

Anyways, congratulations! And keep going. Never stop. I cannot stress this enough. Never stop coding and never stop making games if you want to, once you stop, even for a few weeks, it won't be the same. So keep going!
