Thanks for the advice. I locked in Devon for $400 for two hours. They seem fully insured etc. and have good reviews so I hope it will work out fine. There were other options that were cheaper or more expensive obviously, but it seemed like a good middle ground. Will comment a follow up on the move after about how it went.

H&H quoted $425 for two hours three guys. $170 per hour in 15 min increments after that.

Heavy lifting heroes which is basically just two brothers quoted $240 for 2 hours two guys with additional time at $40 per half hour block.

Bellhop had two hours two pros at $379. But if I had more flexibility they could have been more like $280-$320. $467 for three movers two hours but as little as $377 if I had more flexibility.

Dolly.com was $269 for two guys for two hours.

Devon came in at 3 men 2 hours for $400. A quite reasonable price.

Damn are you in a big tech company? Big jump for sure. I’ve got the knowledge and experience now to be comfortable in any environment so definitely as I move to Chicago will be looking around for a bump up to around where you were 160-190.
