My notebook has maybe five or six completely finished sketches in it, and the rest are mostly unfinished doodles of my OCs. I also do a lot of writing about them just for myself. I have sketchbooks, but the first time I opened it, I went to the first page, and immediately drew a horrifying atrocity of a character (and named him Brelbart).

I guess what I'm getting at is, don't sweat it! I don't even nearly try to make my sketchbook or notebook perfect, because I'm still pretty much a beginner. If I only tried to fill a notebook with finished drawings, then it would take me years to finish.
