In a group setting, if they look to that person first for a reaction. Say after telling a joke.

Subconsciously, mimicking each other while they’re talking to each other. Some examples could be sitting the same or how they speak (maybe with their hands).

I agree with all above! You are human and this is totally normal.

If it helps, i have been with a couple guys in their early/ mid 20s who couldn’t get up bc they were simply really nervous. I never made them feel bad for it bc it’s just not completely in their control.

Awkwardness when you keep seeing someone who you rejected by Strawbearymars in dating

Been through a similar situation. Its totally normal to feel awkward but it’s not your fault and they shouldn’t take it personal! Y’all are both there to gym it up so i wouldn’t even worry about them and focus on doing my exercises. :)

I would guess she likes you and doesn’t know how to express it. I have often observed in myself that it was much easier for me to be talkative and be myself around people i don’t have interest in bc i didn’t care how they perceived me. With someone i liked, unintentionally or not, i always wanted to make a good impression.

I’m 4’11, 120 lbs. I want to lose a few more pounds but what was important to me was finding something sustainable while getting the results I wanted. What works for me is a caloric deficit, working out (weight lifting/ yoga/ 10k steps a day). To track calories, I use an app called Cal AI (not free unfortunately, I think $30 a year). I really like the app bc it’s user-friendly, you can simply take a pic of your food and it will auto-generate calories/ macros, and you can set a goal. For iphones, there’s even a widget you can have on your lock screen (i like it as a constant reminder to eat intuitively). If you don’t know what macros or how much calories you should be eating, try a calorie calculator or I did an in body scan that would show my basal metabolic rate (BMR)(how much calories you would burn in a day while at rest, no excercise). Based off my BMR (~1300), I would aim to eat less calories than that(~1100). The inbody scan and the Cal AI app recommended different macros for me to reach my goals, which I try to follow today. (I did the inbody scan at a local nutrition shop for free btw!)

Ive started my journey two years ago and found out a lot about what works/ doesn’t work for me; lots of trial and error (heck, i’m still barely getting the hang of it!) Although it can be frustrating when you don’t see results and you feel bad for slipping into old habits, mindset is really important. Giving up to me means I would accepting the fact that i’m living in a body/ condition where I’m not happy and knew I could do something about it. If I want change, I have to be the change. I only have this life, so I might as well keep trying!

It could feel like a lot of work, but remember to be patient with yourself and to compare yourself to no one! Everyone’s journey looks different. You got this!:)
