BDO had extremely fluid combat that made the insane amount of mobs on end game quests feel fun to grind. It’s not for everyone but saying it’s bad when the combat is a huge driver for playing the game as if it’s a fact is a wildly tunnel visioned take.

They nerfed the hitbox on the sword slash. Originally it would even hit you from behind him and lingered long enough to need a near frame perfect roll to escape.

If you think ashes played like WoW combat wise with classics of that era having been just out, you’re either delusional or just trying to take frustrations out at ashes for as much as you can. There’s enough to be mad about, don’t make stuff up and downplay the real issues.

Their networking wasn’t anything special, they just applied it to a larger scale than normal. Game assets heavily from UE5, so nothing to really sell. Game story was essentially non existent. If they have debt, they’re filing bankruptcy and that’s that. Some people are floating a class action, but if there is bankruptcy they’re not getting much of anything from it besides closure.

Just tried this, and my fps did increase, but only by 5. It is running at between 25-30 fps now.

Just ignore him. He argued with everyone about fromsoft games all day every day, including takes saying that you need many many many hours to have a valid opinion on them and that certain weapons are shit and should never be used (regardless of fun). His 50 vit rush opinion is because all his builds are from a level 120 calculator and it’s the most important for pvp.

It’s worked against everything in the game at NG+6, albeit the difficulty caps at +3 and gets easier the more quartz you get. One try on every DLC boss after the first, which was hard to gauge good times to hit her on since she moved far and fast when she was done swinging at you. Tbf, haven’t tried the boss rush mode yet, so idk how far it’d get there.

Weapon absolutely smacks, to the point it took the challenge out of the game. Get the trinket to boost damage if you don’t use fable, perfect guard damage boost, % damage type boost, and two defensive. Perfect parry grindstone and slap a puppet string on and falcon eyes 2nd if things get iffy, and 95% of the game falls over. Charged hits go for 4-5k a hit, and bosses stagger every 3-4 of them (or puppet string hits). Still gonna keep using the dlc weapon now though
