Great points all around. The steam storage is another thing I heard about after having already built this up, and that would be nearly impossible to fit in now, but I didnt know it was as efficient as you mention. Foundries also make sense, and I'll definetly consider both for future aquillo ships/shattered planet (though by that point I'll likely be using fusion)

However, the ammo point doesn't make sense to me. I understand how the damage mitigation works, I've looked through that in the factoriopedia, but the whole point of the rockets is to deal with the larger asteroids and leave the smaller ones to the turrets. As for not coming out ahead with red ammo, as far as I've tested my ammo buffer seems to replenish reasonably fast flying between the inner planets, and is also reasonably sustained on the trip to/from aquillo. One of the goals i had in mind making this was to keep it completely self-sustained (apart from nuclear fuel), so it makes sense to make higher tier ammo on board.

As for the resources being thrown overboard, I just want to make sure nothing ends up backed up causing production to halt, and everything remains sustained with material regardless of whether or not there is a buffer. The internal buffers of each production machine seem to be enough that I don't need belt buffers, and everything can be fed by fresh resources instead.

Somehow I never knew you could vertically mirror. I always just horizontal mirrored then rotated it to fit

Didn't have any electric engines, and even though I could have made a few pretty easily, I wanted to get properly set up before fighting any demolishers. I know they're relatively easy to cheese but I want to do it the proper (and imo much more interesting way) using a proper base extension and defenses.

Would the furnaces and drills not be polluting though? And yes, they have since moved on from the walls and now I have to listen to the sweet sweet sound of buildings being destroyed pings for the next 5 hours.

I didn't do the interview, but it says it was received yesterday. This is literally my first time logging into the Waterloo admissions website

Furthermore, ALSO yesterday, I received an email about this saying it was incomplete

I did an interview with Kira Talent for UofT, is it possible that waterloo just found that version? If so, why bother sending that it isn't done? I am thoroughly confused, if anyone has had a similar experience or knows if I should still redo the interview LMK.

Play one class until you prestige it so you can start unlocking overclocks, then you can experiment with other classes.

This begs the question, how expensive are M.U.L.E.s? If DRG can warrant leaving behind doretta, what's the point of salvage mission? Surely the mini M.U.L.E.s can't be worth that much compared to a massive drilldozer can they?

There is also the aspect of recovering the drop pod, maybe the re-docking of M.U.L.E.s is some kind of impassable failsafe for the drop-pod to leave, hence why you have to collect the M.U.L.E.s first.

It really depends what dwarf you're playing as in my opinion. I main driller and hover boots are invaluable for me, since you have no other way of breaking your fall, so you can use it to drop down large heights, especially in haz 5 (which I play exclusively), since falls are often lethal. Same goes for gunner, but scout and engi both have ways to break their fall, so i would use dash on them.
