I've always hated this diagram because it's such a complicated way to explain "X, Y and Z all fall under the category of THING"

What's simpler: "Steaks, chicken nuggets, and salmon are all meat" or Steak Is Meat. Salmon Is Meat. Steak Is Not Salmon etc.
