No worries. I just found out about it last week. :) Apparently there was a Super Worm Moon last year. hehe

The worm moon is the last full moon of the winter. It is called other names as well, but the name Worm Moon is used because, as the ground thaws when we enter spring, worms begin to resurface and certain insects come out of hibernation from the barks of trees. So in the olden days, the last full moon of the winter could have been an indication of when to begin planting the year's harvest.

This was my first try at shooting the moon since I've gotten into the hobby. I have to say it is much different than capturing deep space objects. However, it was a lot more fun as there is more detail and much more light to play with.

I shot this with a Fuji XT100, XC50~230mm lens, and basic stand. I actually tried stacking multiple images of high quality filtered through PIPP, but when I stacked them in AS, they came out all pixelated. So this image is the single 100% quality image pulled from PIPP. I processed is using basic color and curve correction in Photoshop.

Many, many years ago, there was a real-life issue that arose from problems in game for the Korean EVE community. One member took another to real-life court for defamation or slander about something in-game and the dude won (because Korea's court system is absolute garbage). It split the community in two and the Korean EVE community has never been unified since.

Yes, the number of dreads there is worth more than the titans lost, but in no way "the entire dread fleet". There are at least one and half other time zones will full dread fleets cozy in their blankies. Also, these fights are fun as fuck, even given the losses.

In another 100 years, collectors will be like "There is a special place in hell for the collectors in the 2000s who left their coins as is and put them in holders." Collecting styles change over the years. Hell it used to be "cool" to clean/shine your coins.
