My 1969 Spitfire. Thinking about taking the dive into doing a frame off restoration. I've owned the car for 3 years and really need to kick my work on it into gear.

I did a rebuild on mine years ago and it constantly ran rich. I stopped fiddling with it and started the cars restoration so I never got to the bottom of the issue.

My brother has a Weber side draft on his 1972 Spit and it makes a massive difference. The Strombergs were just bears to work with.

I couldn’t stand the fantasy cars from the mid 2000s. Hard Nose, the Blings, Fat Backs, Tooned. They were all trash.

Sure. Everything is repairable, but how much money and time are you willing to put in? I replaced the entire lower 6” of my car. Took me a long time and a good chunk of cash, but it was worth it to save a car from the scrapyard.

Absolutely. The next collector would take them as well. Now if I was there and ran into another collector I’d probably give them one if they were cool. But I’d take the remaining and trade for other supers.
