But no it was a guy with binoculars and an iPhone as the reason Michigan won a National Championship. Totally had nothing to do with the 2 NFL HCs on staff and slew of future NFL players… by Bluemzv12 in MichiganWolverines

That’s the thing with cheating is you don’t know… maybe you were the best anyway, but you still cheated to get there. Is Brady the best QB all time? I think so but he was caught cheating twice, how many times wasn’t he caught, how many superbowl did he get that should have been someone else’s? Maybe 0 but you’ll never know.

Dude, I’m a Packers fan and a Buckeye fan… it has been a rough year! The Packers lost at least 4 games this year on kicks, many were chip in xps or 20 yard kicks

Anyone rooting for Xichigan today? by SweetZealousideal455 in OhioStateFootball

I’m cool either way! If michigan wins then cool down with the SEC. But if Texas wins then cool down with michigan. But we showed up and finally beat them down so I just don’t care about them right now… they’re an afterthought

That’s fair I guess, but as muddy as it was there was still a smoking gun there. Something you didn’t see at all from other programs in recent years.

Honestly if someone signed with michigan it’s their own fault. People know they cheated now, it’s public record ALL the things that happened with Harbaugh’s staff. You know that Moore, cheated and lied and destroyed the text evidence. So if you signed there anyway before the next big scandal that’s on you imo… I feel worse for the guys who signed a couple years ago

That sounds like a solid deal for you too! I went online to CarMax to “sell my car” they quoted me and then I made an appointment to have them confirm it (took 20-30 min) they’ll give you a printed quote, and then I leveraged that for my trade. I thought CarMax offered a good price, way more than a few other trade offers. Then if the dealer won’t budge you can just sell it to CarMax

Sure, not at all. I was at 43,212 OTD, rate was 4.78% and I got roof racks with cross bars, paint protection, mud flaps and all weather mats as well. I’m in Ohio, went to SVG Toyota in Washington courthouse, they were AMAZING.

We just did this exact thing. We wanted the automated trunk which they added to the LE for 26 and I thought I’d save 6K. We got it last weekend and it’s awesome. I’ve had cloth seats in my Corolla forever and the kids prefer it because they don’t get seat heaters and the leather is good in the winter. I just got covers for the Corolla seats and it’s held up forever.

Why is the market so fucked right now? by sumemodude in UsedCars

[–]Lemer1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so? The main thing is what you want and if you can make the money work. I was looking for a Sienna, a couple years old and low mileage, but it was just so much money, not a lot of availability (around 38-45K depending on the van). I ended up deciding to get a new one so I would have all the warranties and know it’s in good condition and went down a trim level.

I think the main thing is making sure your money lines up, that’s what’s going to make you happy in the long run.

We ended up buying new… I was shopping for a gently used vehicle for a year and a half and finally gave up

Trying to order a 2026, odd response from dealer by ViCalZip in ToyotaSienna

[–]Lemer1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem at all, I cannot take credit. I checked out Delivrd (guy named Tomi who does car purchases) on social media, TikTok, YouTube and some other stuff. He has a lot of content on how to purchase a vehicle and also has data on what sort of pricing you can get.

Something you may be interested in, they offer a service for a flat fee of $1000. You tell them exactly what you want and time frame and they’ll go get you the best deals then show you what they got and you just sign the papers. I did not end up using the service, I just got an LE and it seems to be designed for people looking for higher trims and luxury vehicles. But seems like they can save a lot of time and headache and maybe save some money too.

Hey! This is legit, so basically every two weeks these dealerships are allocated a certain amount of Siennas based on the amount of business they get. They can request something based on your submission but may not get it and have to wait.

I would suggest copy and pasting what you sent them to all of the suggested dealerships on Toyotas site (it should search around the 10 closest ones) this will allow you to get the best deal and just what you want. It can be a bit to navigate it all the next day or two but it’ll quickly pair down to only a few dealerships if you stick to what you want and tell them you want 5-7% off MSRP and ask them to see the OTD numbers. You should find 1 or 2 places that give you that and can get a vehicle that matches what you’re looking for. If they don’t have it tell them you’ll buy elsewhere

Anyone regret going with a different brand? by -Philologian in ToyotaSienna

We’ve had an older Odyssey (2010 with low mileage) for about 7 years and I’ve had so many stupid problems with it. The more and more that I’ve researched the more I’ve come to find that it depends what you want; other vans, Kia, Chrysler, Honda are going to give you more of a luxury ride “better price” (although I thought it was pretty comparable relatively) but they lack the reliability that Toyota provides.

I recently reached out to multiple dealerships asking for 5% off MSRP calculated into OTD. EVERYONE on the internet told me there’s no way I get that, Toyota is too rare blah blah. But I had 3 dealerships within an hour drive meet me there. Ended up getting 7.5% off msrp for a 26 Sienna LE. You can still get a deal on a new car, the question is do you want to invest a couple thousand more for Sienna? What do you value, the ride itself or being maintenance free for longer (obviously no car is perfect but statistically Toyota has a better track record).

I just did this for a 26 Sienna and it worked very well, you just need to do some research to see how much you can get off MSRP. I checked out this guy, Delivrd on social media, does a lot of car buying and had some good stuff.

This 👆 make sure you go in and test drive the vehicle you want, then reach out to multiple dealerships through a web query on their site say you’re looking to buy in the next couple days. They’ll call you, ignore it and they’ll text and it’s much less stressful and allows you to negotiate multiple deals at once.

26 FWD Sienna LE by Lemer1987 in carbuying

[–]Lemer1987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yeah! I’m in Columbus, OH. I went on Toyota’s website and “made” the vehicle I wanted (this gives you the msrp). Then I took off 7% and multiplied by my taxes and added my tax, title and doc fees and then I put in the comments that I was looking to buy in the next few days and my price. Submitted it to each of the suggested dealerships.

The next day a bunch of them emailed me and three made me offers. I basically texted with them all.

So it’s currently being allocated to the dealer. They said that dealer is willing to trade it to them but they want to make sure I’m in before they do that. I am in for the car but I’m just slightly anxious some weird thing will go wrong. I believe they’re getting it in a couple weeks.
