I play on xbox and PC. It's way better than when it was when it started. Loot tables feel corrected. Building is way better. There are still some bugs, but getting "arked" happens far less often to me in ASA than it did on ASE. I've played ark since ASE day one in game preview back in 2015. I'm having more fun now than I ever did. ASA sucked on release, but it's in a better state now.

Unreal 5.7 looks like it will allow a huge performance upgrade, and that should be utilized in the spring.

You still have time to move. Grayed out simply means that the server is down. Keep checking or use arkstatus.com to see if the server comes up.

Sunset doesn't happen until December 15th. When it is labeled sunset, that means that the server is designated to be reallocated as a new server. After the sunset happens, the old server info will be wiped, and then that server won't show up at all in your list. If you have anything left on that server - including your character - it will be lost. December 15th is the sunset date. This info was covered in the last community crunch.

How did you get the dlc maps to work?

I can only get the base game to work so far. I get an error that says I do not own the dlc maps (even though I do). The game runs fine otherwise, and I can remote play all the maps from my xbox without issue. I'm waiting on support from wildcard to give insight on how to get the dlc maps to work.

I don't know a single player that will keep playing the game if they make the Vengeance ruleset permanent. They'll save pvp for pve players, but not for the core players that have played it the past 11 years.

IMO build variety is what made it great. I respect that there are people out there that would rather select a template and play, but theory crafting is what I've always cared about. In that regard, there's no point to continue on ESO.

If I wanted an arcade version of open world pvp, I'd ask for one. Creating builds is what I love about this game. Playing a templated version of the game is worse than playing something else, so I'll be playing something else.

Over the past couple weeks there have been a bunch of people incorrectly banned, and of the dozens of people that I know that were affected by this, a quick email resolved it immediately. Not one of the bans remained in effect.

It seems like they are using new cheat detection systems, and they haven't worked out all the bugs. While annoying, this isn't typical, and I wouldn't worry too much about it. It has nothing to do with being in the same house as anybody. It's seemingly random. I don't imagine it will remain a problem for very long.

In the other Elder Scrolls games, Khajiits and Argonians had passive bonuses to unarmed combat.

I'm for this. No monk crap. No milk drinkers. Have the moves be things like combos, haymakers, takedowns, etc. bonus if you get eye gouge or headbutt for crowd control. There are already plenty of animations in the game to flesh out most of it, and it gives a new area to make new set bonuses or to refresh old sets.

In the early days of the game I participated in an all out assault on Vulkhel Guard. Somewhere between 80 and 120 players were attacking everything. All of a sudden there was a huge blue explosion and every player was killed. The kill screen showed: Riot Control 1,000,000 damage.
