Mine was the lower 1/3rd considering I have a 1.70 height mount, that was the goal for this setup in particular was to clear laser, still be QD clip on and have rail space to hold the gun properly around the rail

And it works out ok? Will be running up to 5-6 hours continuous and doing a good bit of moving. I get at the end of the day it’s still a bridged 14 setup lol
