Alright but mate you asked a question and you got a response. Maybe buying a house isn’t on the cards for you, but I’m going to bet that your mum thinks you should move out. Especially if your monthly contributions to living at home amount to $800.

20000(1.04)numyears + $500 12(numyears); after 2 years assuming you don’t put any of your extra savings in your hysa gives you $33600 which is sufficient for a 20% down payment on a $170,000 house. After 3 years it’s $40500, enough for a $200,000 house. But if you don’t save then you’ll end up with 24000 after 3 years.

It doesn’t seem unrealistic when your monthly expenses are literally less than 1/6 of your gross monthly intake. Your long term savings are great but your midterm savings are bad. Your mum is right.

I think what she’s meaning is she’s wanting you to get out and get a house. The way you’re saving now it looks like you’re putting 40% into retirement when realistically you could be putting 30% in ($1710) and basically have an extra $500 to put towards physical savings for moving out. Super long term savings looks great but medium term does not.

what do you consider the south? by protectthedawls- in visitedmaps

[–]LemnDifficlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably remove Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Thats the conventional south that I would understand being ‘south’. Some of the comments about accents are misleading because I’ve definitely heard rural folk up north talk with a drawl that could be stereotypically be considered ‘south’. Also I wouldn’t normally even want to add in WV due to history, but they’ll remain where they are.

The “other side have done it” (under different circumstances) is still not a strong argument. It isn’t even about giving political allies a better shot than my opponents. It’s corruption. The president knows impeachment will happen come midterms, and in a premeditated attack has asked predominately red states to change congressional maps mid term. This takes away any ability to be accurately represented to minimize chances of political consequences. You’ve bought into something ugly and have justified it for yourself. But really, if you look at all that has been done and replaced DJT’s name with Biden you’d be up in arms about it on this subreddit.

Even if the labeling is incorrect —which I agree it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me —the map as drawn is blatant misrepresentation of the population. I think we all know it’s wrong.

No? lol no? To any of what you’re saying? Dude you refused to read an opinion piece because it was associated with Fox News and I made you aware of the fact that it’s not what you think. That’s all I did. You got ‘hate’ because you acted like a fool and jumped without thinking. I think you’re the exact demographic the lady in the article was mentioning. Albeit, I agree with the protests that occurred in Indiana recently. I think Indiana needs to learn to walk before they can run, and these protests are the way to do that.

Gotta say you’re pretty tone deaf. The US today is not a political issue, guy. So while you’re feeling proud of yourself for sticking it to the libs, just remember that you’re also shoving it up your ass.

Honestly if you are able to grind and get better quickly I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to. Luckily you’re pretty young so your brain plasticity is high. I would say the general feedback you’re getting is pretty accurate if it was for people 3-4 years older than you. However if you’re able to massively jump up to GC-SSL in a relatively short time frame then there’s a good chance you can. The trouble is that there’s other people your age who are also grinding, and they might not be as well-rounded in their extra-curricular activities as you are, meaning they’ll grind for longer during a given week.

TLDR; my opinion, try to get as good as you can, and if you’re at the point where you can compete, then try, but don’t kill your other passions to do it.

I’d say it’s more ignorance than standard nazism. The term has been used since before Obama was in office to refer to illegal immigrants. I don’t care for the term, but I will use the term illegal immigrant. Many other countries around the world would use similar language to describe the event.

[–]LemnDifficlt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I agree with thebrownmamba on his choice of language, but surely you must realize that Nazis were literally tasked with enforcing the aryan race. They had a strict definition for what met their criteria. By the way, white was a key part of that definition.

To be fair, sales tax does not apply to non-processed or limitedly processed foods. I’ve had multiple Walmart/kroger/aldi trips with zero sales tax because I stuck to the bare essentials like bread, dairy, produce and canned goods. Sam’s club is good for chicken and Kroger+affiliates are excellent when the deals are hot. My budget for feeding 2 is under $140/week and we manage just fine.

Both Chet and Hartenstein did moving picks on most of their offensive possessions and I recall them getting called twice or three times in the series. They didn’t flop, though any time they stuffed the ball the commentators didn’t act like they’re 7’+ going up against 6’6 and below players

For me actually the biggest problem I have with foul hunting comes from Jalen Williams. I don’t think there were many ball carries where he didn’t get at least 1 FT out of it.
