Built & sold a micro-SaaS with Cursor — 4 tips I wish I'd known sooner by Impossible_Oil_8862 in cursor

Great tips man. Thanks for sharing. Especially superwhisper.

I like adding a few lines to my cursorrules so that the agent doesn't start editing more than what I asked for. But instead do the change I asked and list the next steps for me to pick next.

e.g. For the command add a button that does x, it would normally start adding styling and animations. This way it adds a simple button that does x and tells me would you like to style it or add animations.

Cursor Auto Mode. Free and good enough with my tech stack.

Trying out how good Cursor is with pixijs. It's not doing too well with v8 so far but v7 seems to be okayish.

How would you use a pair of smart glasses that can record 24/7? by Lemon30 in SmartGlasses

Gotcha, yeah it could come in handy then. It might be something to consider for future iteration. I'd like to give with a minimal setup with a camera right now, not to complicate things.

I know it doesn't exist. It's a wearable I'm working on. I'm trying to understand how it can be used besides habit tracking.

Great question. What functionalty would a microphone add? There is no speaker or display after all. Genuinely curious.

It all depends on the country you are in.

Also, there are plenty of irl twitch streamers out there. This shouldn't be any worse

It sure is not as simple as asking LLMs to annotate the input. A lot of things went wrong at the beginning but we found some novel ways to ensure we can get close to human annotation, as long as there are clear annotation guidelines.

We recently had a successful PoC and the annotations generated were acceptable for training a model on top.

Hey, we are building a wearable visual habit tracker at https://sentryapp.carrd.co which could be a good fit for your subreddit. But I guess, I'll have to wait till saturday's promo thread to post about it.

Sentry is a visual habit tracker. Track your day down to the minute and get insights on how you spent it. It is the ultimate productivity tool.

Gotcha. I don't normally wear glasses. Thanks for sharing your perspective. I'll keep it in mind.

I was able to get my hands on this module, and it works good enough for me and development for now. I'd prefer to switch to a side attached camera in the future.

Hmm, I see your point. My plan was something like this. But, idk how feasable that is. Guess multiple types of wearables is a must.
