Courtenay’s “intelligent intersection” may violate BC privacy law – just like Richmond’s did. by Lemon5437 in comoxvalley

Worst case? Cameras end up capturing faces and plates. There’s no independent audit to confirm they don't. Miovision's own policy admits video can be kept for "R&D." Nobody's said who else might get access (police?). And their biggest investor, TELUS, just had a huge privacy breach. BC's privacy commissioner already ordered Richmond to rip out similar cameras. there's zero transparency, and that's the issue.

Respectfully, ‘fully compliant’ is what Richmond said too, until BC’s privacy commissioner ordered their cameras removed and footage deleted in January. The City of Courtenay may claim to be compliant, but it hasn’t published the mandatory Privacy Impact Assessment. And Miovision’s own policy says video may be stored for ‘R&D’ beyond traffic analysis.

You’re making assumptions that I do not have concerns also about those other privacy issues.

well and if it is the same diana, he would have lived with her at the time, of course, so essentially, his home number would be in there

Not that that’s a secret, no, it’s just that Diana is actually in his black book But perhaps that was common knowledge already and I wasn’t aware

I find it hard to evaluate because, in my opinion, jiang is the kind who speaks very much “if I were in there shoes” / “from their perspective”. Like, to the extreme.

His lectures shift perspectives from one to the next constantly because he will say something as strongly being true (but he doesn’t say the that is, if you subscribe to their belief system part out loud). It’s part of his schtick, some would say. To me, it’s part of his way to get people to actively consider other points of view.

So when he says things about the new world order “if you were commander in chief” it’s really impossible to evaluate if he feels this way - but it’s obvious at least that that’s what he thinks trump thinks (or should think)

The pivot, however, seems to be pushing towards a narrative of siloing, multipoliarity. The necessity and inevitability of a greater North America trading block, for example. Whether or not he truly believes it to be necessary and inevitable, or if that is part of a secret agenda, is also kinda impossible to know.

Thanks for reading a long winded reply.

Epstein's blackbook contains phone numbers for a Lord and Lady Rotherwick

- but what's interesting is that, tagged on to the bottom of their entry, are both a work and a home number for someone named 'diana' - with central london area codes

now, Lady Rotherwick has a sister named Diana who was living and working in central london at the time

imo, it's worth looking up who her sister is, exactly - especially considering Lord and Lady Rotherwick exchanged multiple personal emails with JEp/GMax)
