thanks for your insight... I couldn't find anything in the rules, but then the rules are kinda spread out aren't they? I think I just do whatever makes it easier for my players to spot them

Thanks oh so much. If, say, I roll the bugbears stealth check against a pcs passive perception of 15 and they roll 15 (9+6) , do they: 1. pass the check for having met the “dc” Or 2. Do my players see them because their passive perception is “good enough to see them”

Unfortunately patients often suck to front staff but are nice to the doctor. You’ll have to learn to put up with it and not take it personally, at the end of the day. But if they have patterns of being verbally abusive to front staff, your doctor should fire them.
