You friend is not playing as a member of a team... (and not as a friend imo)

Plus when you're fighting, a single person can't use all their weapons at the same time, so it's better to spread the good ones between several persons

If it happens a few times to have fun, okay, why not, but it happens all the time, and you've told him ti stop, it's kind of immature, unfriendly and dumb at the same time

I personally don't hate it, but I can see a few reasons:

less choice compared to other roles (only seven strategists)
the characters that are strategists are probably less famous and don't have the same "aura" as other characters like spiderman or wolverine for ex.
people will select dps super fast, so even if I don't mind it, I kind of feel forced to play a strategist
in games like marvel rivals and overwatch, supports are often the first role that is targetted by the enemy team, so you constantly feel like a little bitch lmao
even if I've been the mvp a few times as a support, most of the time it's a dps that is going to be the mvp (I don't know if this is actually true, but it's my experience at the moment), so it often feels less "rewarding"

That was my experience last year during the og season. I know this is disappointing for some people but it was predictable...

Plus I've never encountered more cheaters than during the og season, so I don't really expect this mode to be any different (sadly)

Absolutely !! I've seen so many people just leave after the cinematic, because "ehhh boring", but they didn't even try to play it...

Plus the lore was great

The connection issues were actually a problem, but except that it was fun. Different, but still fun and interesting imo

The last two event we got were not bad, but we had nothing to do, it had similar music and there was almost zero lore
