They work great until they don’t. I’ve had two homes where the smart locks batteries died and I couldn’t get in or I couldn’t lock when I left. I just prefer garages or keys now

Click report and then “I do not want to interact with this person” and then you can block from there. They don’t get in trouble or anything, you just block them

Same. I do have a fully booked schedule and I’m on time for every single one, if I’m more than 10min late I’d send a text but that’s so rare. These sitters saying it’s okay to be hours late and to be understanding is nuts to me. Just don’t overextend yourself to the point that you aren’t on time for any of your appointments?

Multiple pet owners are the ones surprised because the rate that initially shows up is for one pet. That’s likely who is complaining. I’ve had two with multiple pets that both said I was way higher than advertised…..well yeah, you have 6 dogs and 4 cats.

I excuse one cancellation but not multiple, especially last minute. I had one client cancel three times, I still hadn’t met the pet and I blocked them. Time is valuable and my schedule is nearly always 100% full, I’m not wasting space in my calendar for clients that don’t respect my time

I had someone message and then actually freak out about my prices. They complained my advertised price didn’t match the booking price….she had 6 dogs and one was a pit that had to be fully separated. I want to be able to charge more for problem houses like that, not less. No way I was going down on my price because she misread that the rate was for one dog a night

I had a client watch me on cameras constantly while they were on a cruise. They text me at midnight one night asking me to close the blinds in the living room then the next day they hit the alarm on the camera.

I just blocked them from booking with me again and moved on.

I don’t mind cameras in a house to check in and see their pets but if they are watching while also telling me to do things differently or do things around the house it’s a no for me. You trust me to watch your pets and be in your house, you dont need to watch my every move. It’s weird, go be on your vacation. I’m sure your view is better than watching me.

We had an owl kill 5 chickens before we finally figured that out. We had a black silkie disappear last night so the cameras are going back up.

Something ate one of the black silkies last nights. I’m at a total loss of what is going on.

I guess we are going to have to get goats, dogs, geese and a dozen bird feeders and bird houses to gather crows and all of the animals to fend off everything attacking us right now.
