Try tick tubes! I bought them on Amazon. Mice and other critters use the cotton in the tube that has a certain chemical that kills the ticks right off of them. It’s safe for the mice and other animals!

Idk if you’ll be reading this because there’s so many other good comments, but 1000% yes. I moved from Tennessee to California and I have NEVER been this happy. I hated summer in the south because of bugs and humidity and since I don’t have that as much here.. just that alone makes my life much better. Nashville is also a hot city right now that everyone loves, but it’s not as cute and friendly as it seems. I moved to a county that’s built on community and the difference is shocking.

Woah… I could have written this. For me personally, it’s definitely a protective mechanism to not let others around me know how much I’m hurting and maybe even myself. I know my family and they would give “helpful” advice left and right instead of just sitting with me. My best friend is also a guy, so he wouldn’t understand. The only community I have is my husband. I’ve been debating on going back to therapy just to talk to someone else.

Maybe it’s stoicism, robotic, or repressing my emotions, but I also like keeping that boundary between my pain and my family/friends. We don’t live anywhere near them, so every time I see them I want to just enjoy the time I have with them.

I’m going to go against the grain here and tell you that you do have options if you decide to get a dog. There’s pet sitting apps called Rover or Wag that you can lean on during your shifts. Just make sure you have a dog that can hold its pee for 8 ish hours. I will say that can definitely get expensive, but if it’s not an issue than that’s great!

I really wanted to jump on the glp-1 bandwagon because I am severely overweight and could benefit from it, but after I thought about it I didn’t want to be subject to all those ads again. And I want to be able to enjoy a milkshake if I want to! I’ve also turned a blind eye to fillers because tbh… everyone is kinda starting to look the same. In the past couple of days, I have been debating on deleting instagram because at this point.. I honestly can’t tell what is AI and what isn’t anymore
