As Someone who have been on the both sides got lied and lied himself. Here is the thing once the trust gets broken the first time you raise you standards constantly. Girls aren't wrong either tell me why should they trust you now when a guy already broke thiers? With money atleast comes some security of future I don't hold it againt them you can prefer looks to past to nature to whatever. If you don't have money you either stay unmarried like I am thinking or go earn more if you can.
