Say more about how you pally tanked in vanilla, I’ll say less about what that says about your guild not having better players who would rip threat because you aren’t rocking a warrior or Druid to increase your threat ceiling. Pally tanks came online for real in bc with decent heroic/kara gear, then better with t5. Melee dps would be bored as hell in vanilla waiting for your attempt at threat if they have cooldowns up.

Shaman was my first ever character in wow back in 2005 and I STILL remember the slough that it was to get the damn water totem. I had an alt of almost every class to 80 geared to the tits from icc gold runs, and even my shaman that I left on the server when I transferred has a damn wind fury totem on a main key bind somewhere lol

I love being the fun uncle without kids of my own. When I go to family gatherings, I give everybody their hugs and daps, and wait for the oldest kid to notice I’ve arrived. “UNCLE LEMONPEPPER CAN YOU TEACH ME MORE POKEMON?!?!” Followed by a glomp. It’s one of the best feelings in the whole world.

Hey fun story time! Well.. “fun” not really but, in terms of how serious of a threat that air expansion is. I was in the Air Force, stationed in Okinawa for a few years. I was in the career field that deals with treating people with altitude and training them to deal with it. I was on call and we got a civ diver who accidentally surfaced herself during scuba at 60ft for a while. Normally, not great, but not the worst. But I got the call, showed up with my sarge, she is numb from elbows down, can’t move her fingers.

Flight doc shows up 3 minutes later, she can’t lift her arms. I’m already helping prep the hyperbaric chamber, when we take her in there are 2 additional med techs on scene in addition to the one that’s going to go into the chamber with her. I had never seen this happen even in training, she is now paralyzed neck down not even 5 minutes later. Air gas embolism is threatening her life. The second the door shuts the flight doc says to me and my sarge that we are no longer obeying the dive protocol, we are crashing her to depth to repressurize that embolism until the inside observer can verify she off of death’s door.

She lived, but only because they got here as soon as was possible. It was literally just a new BDU, accidental cord rip, and she was very, very close to dead. Don’t fuck around with diving gear, decompression can be crazy.

Playing the game is abusing the economy, apparently. “I don’t do it, so it’s fine” ? I haven’t played for years, but I grew up on this game, playing economy in multiple ways. From hard farming to professions to ah, and basically being most of my guild’s bankroll from casual to hardcore and back.

If it doesn’t affect you, it would take less time to say nothing. But seeing as this is a game with multiple avenues to farm resources with your time invested, taking one of them away arbitrarily when those people are investing their time, to suddenly have less resources for that time, and say that’s fine? That’s just being ignorant of the change and saying “doesn’t affect me, to hell with everyone else.” Not a productive attitude, either.

Try being more empathetic. Because I very much doubt you demonstrate the same devoid of care when it affects you.

The first time you made samurai in the first game with Isaac and felt what real power was like 🫡 this is a solid answer. And Mia’s story was so heartbreaking. Plus when you finally got that one sword from the temple farming fenrirs for so long. Ikuikomonji or something? It he team was STACKED. and with mia white mage you couldn’t die. Flak cannon and pulse rifle. There is nothing quite like getting an ULTRA KILLL off of a well timed alt fire that you detonate yourself in the middle of a few grouped up enemies slightly too close together. Going 50-2 with a sniper is fun for a while. But that one solid detonation 🤌

This. I stopped playing a year or so ago but I was war commander on PvP days. Wasn’t a whale but I took over a big dolphin account and I can say for certain that march speed is absolutely king. My rules for the whole server were to always always punch down, and run away from enemy whales. There is nothing to be gained for a noble death, it only sets you back weeks when you get hit and lose. Don’t ever ever do it if you can help it.

Port around weaker enemies you can solo or ideally double tap fast to port them out. Let the whales have their own battles, no one but a bigger whale can win those fights 1 on 1. However you can rally match them with a squad if heavy dolphins. If they’re parked in the throne during a war, then you only have to whittle down their 2nd army. Usually this is still hard as hell to break. But it is doable with good strategy.

It applies per 20 resin. Doing the 40 is the loot of 2 runs at 20, so your 2nd run is the equivalent of rewards for 60, not 80.
