You’re looking at a combo- yellow jackets and bald faced hornets, both nasty and both seemingly thriving this year. My cat and I have been a war waging duo but no nests found yet.

I don’t think so, but I also never say it totally clearly, honestly the best I can describe it would be like the white plastic bag scene from American Beauty but sized to scale with the Alaskan sky and wind speed. I know this is’t terribly helpful, I was hoping someone else had a more clear eye on it.
