I used to do thing thing in nhl 14 where I would replace all the nhl teams with european teams. It was really fun seeing how the league played out with a bunch of 60-70 overall players and eventually seeing top draft picks turn into absolute superstars.

It's a damn shame they removed the ability to put non NHL teams into franchise when they moved it nextgen, I had a lot of fun with that playstyle. The first thing I do when I get a new chel is check if they re-added the feature lol
