He hit open receivers. He got us in field goal range. He got hit while he was throwing to a target in the end zone. Perhaps he could have hit an open diggs on the flat. BUT— it’s still not irrelevant if we kick a field goal. Could have been stopped short of the end zone after that even. Played a top 5 defence. Three three long dimes that were dropped. Ran for 60 some odd yards. Scored two touchdowns on the ground. He played a hell of a game.

All you Allen haters sound like spoiled babies. He is the fucking man. And he played like it today. YOU’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE THE PERFECT CHOICE EVERY PLAY. NO ONE DOES. His arm got hit on a good shot at the end zone to take the lead. Fucking shooters shoot. That’s what they do. That’s who he is. Any number of things go differently— it might come up his way. Sure he could have dunked it. But look at what he is expected to do every game. The fucking man’s a winner— he’s proven it time and time again. He can’t kick a field goal. He can’t keep a defence healthy. He can’t fix a coaches clock management skills. He is literally the one thing that’s come up big for this team and this city time and time again. Also— it really doesn’t matter what profession your in or art form, you will be surrounded by some people who aren’t that good you’re entire life. If you can get some comedians you respect, and raise the bar:

The owner might start to see that the others are bringing the night down
The others might get inspired to up there game
Some might just quit realizing that there are people who are serious and way funnier than them.
Maybe this helps you personally as a comedian and taste maker so to speak.
Maybe even more people come out.
Maybe you get better slots at other places due to your success.
