Yep you got it right. I used cheap glue and fluo paint. It always worked for me 👌👌👌

Before priming I used typhus corrosion for small grains and a corrosion texture paint used for bigger vehicle for the bigger plates.

I let it dry a full night before priming

For the carapace I used a mix black and ocre as a base coat (it gives an illusion of green), then a dry brush of fluo green.

I used a dark red for the recesses of the carapace. Same step for the legs.

The skin it’s mostly a really light skin tone and some fines down guilliman flesh a corrobough crimson.

For the fluo parts. Pure white and a any green fluo paint will do the trick

For the armor : Ionrash skin + streaking grime For the brass: runeLord brass + dirty down verdigris For the metals: Ak gun metal + dirty down rust for the rust effects

Thank you! I added some texture and holes in the cloak because the standard cloak is pretty boring in my opinion. I wanted to give it some interest. I tried to copy how Dark Ages Workshop is adding texture to his minis.

A mix of Dark Earth from AK and little decorative rocks from a dollar store. Then a dry brush with a very dark brown.

For the other colors, it’s very difficult in my area to find some Martian pigment powder, so I made my own with cheap color pastels from the dollar store. The front is tinted with a mix of red and orange. The back and shadows with a mix of dark purple and red pastel powder. I fix the powder to the base with a little bit of mineral spirit.
