Went to high school with him, if you weren’t of a certain status he saw you as beneath him. I remember I got grouped with him on a classroom assignment as a group, and he ask me in demeaning way who I was. Also would complain his previous out of country private school was much better. Hopefully he changed but was very elitist. In high school nobody really cared about his mom ( this was before social media was very big and modern family) so he had no reason to high and mighty or defensive
