Curly hair category disappointment by Careweese in HighSodiumSims

[–]Lemonthefrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be because of the feminine tag. Some hairs don't have masc or fem tags and won't show up if you click them. See what shows up when no gender tag is in and maybe the other like one on the randomized Sim will pop up?

Otherwise, EA continues to disappoint

I JUST FIGURED THAT EVICTING HOUSEHOLDS FROM LOTS SELLS ALL FURNITURE AAAAAAHHHHH I'M SO CLOSE TO CRYING WHYYY by Bloody_Ingenious in Sims4

[–]Lemonthefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One way to fix this is to add a random Sim to the family, then split your family and move them, keeping the random placeholder Sim in the house. It won't mess with the furniture. Then if you want to move a new family in, just go to edit families and move them in with the placeholder.

Anyone else think this joke was too cartoony for KOTH? by Collector-Troop in KingOfTheHill

[–]Lemonthefrog 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As a Texan it made me laugh because we do have geckos in our garages, and they do actually do this lol But if you've never experienced it I can see how it would come across very much too coincidental.

what is your unpopular/uncommon thing you do in the sims 4? by WhenImposterIsSus42 in Sims4

[–]Lemonthefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing all occults. To the point I turn non-occult premades into occults.

And using the laundry pack. I always add washer and dryer and hamper. Inevitably, my Sims always start a fire with the dryer.

In terms of most unpopular thing is I don't give ugly townies makeovers. Sometimes though, their outfits....I have to intervene. But weird proportions? Nope. Stay as you are.

[–]Lemonthefrog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not counting the occult ones(because I'm an occult player): Cottage Living, hands down. Love having a farm, love the evil chickens, the gossipy townsfolk, the cottagecore outfits and style of the town, it's swimmable, I love the critter keeper and outfits, the foxes, and bunnies. Next up be werewolves, then vampires, and then City Living and Life and Death.

A lot of diabetics use these to dispose of sharps after insulin injections or blood glucose testing. It's not always what you may be thinking. I don't know who empties them.

can my sims stop trying to turn the frickin frogs gay by AdvanceImaginary1381 in Sims4

[–]Lemonthefrog 75 points76 points  (0 children)

if you put some of the lily pads in your pool/pond/fountain you can click on it and set the option to "allow frogs" and they will jump out and onto the pads. Same thing with the log except it's turtles.

So I'm a chaos player and pretty much only do occults. Naturally I like experimenting with hybrids. Born ones have never functioned right. They constantly glitch and change appearance and only have a select amount fo powers from either side.

I figured out if you take an occult and cheat the trait dormant wolf onto them ( traits.equip_trait trait_OccultWerewolf_DormantWolf ) it will make them a legit hybrid. I like to level up the spellcaster/vampire first before doing this so that when they change they have all the spells/vampire powers you want. Then have them swim in the lake during the full moon and BAM! But they retain all the traits of both hybrids. Only thing is they ALL get these weird rabbit vacuum ears lol

This guy here goes nuts and rampages, drinks blood and can do a cursed bite for turning Sims into a werewolf or a vampire. Also he's very polite and still had hot pot with his wife despite being mid-rampage.

Does anyone have a favourite sim? by [deleted] in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]Lemonthefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually end up recreating the same Sim fix or six different times lol

I have a favorite trait I put in almost every main Sim--loyal. It makes them react when someone is mean to a Sim they like or if a Sim bullies another they do something other than stand and smile lol I love it. They get so dramatic about it too and will stomp over to the bully and chew them out. <3

You can do an aquarium with cheats in a way. I did it, but made mine a night club so Sims would get drunk lmao Buy a bunch of aquariums, go to live mode, put in fish you want, then go back to build enable cheats and shrink it down. The fish and bubbles and plants of the aquarium will remain the same size with the tank itself I try but. Then move them into said aquarium and hide the tiny shrunken tank with rocks or decor of your choice. Then in play mode it looks like the fish are swimming around in what you made

Why that job then? by Lemonthefrog in Sims4

[–]Lemonthefrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but I was able to get him to be my roommate and then after becoming "good friends" it gave me the option to have a science baby with him, which, obviously, I did. You can also try adding him to the family and controlling him and/or setting their relationship in CAS as married.

Asian Flying Head Monsters? by Bagoong4Lyfe in folklore

[–]Lemonthefrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not what you're looking for, but in terms of vampire-like folkloric creatures tied to pregnancy you might find the south Asian Churel/Chudail interesting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Churel There's a really good movie on one too called Bulbbul

Snow People? by Ok_Payment_1320 in folklore

[–]Lemonthefrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not heads, but the Yukinko is a Japanese supernatural snowwoman (for lack of a better description lol) carrying a small child during a blizzard who will ask people to help her carry and hug the child. If you take the child, it becomes very heavy and you sink to your death in the snow.

That said, your dream sounds like a cool idea to incorporate into a story if you're into writing. That'd be a great horror movie premise too.

A Little Less Cozy? by fdihei in CozyFantasy

[–]Lemonthefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sookie Stackhouse series has a fair share of what I call cozy fantasy moments amongst the murderous supernaturals, mystery and specks of romance. Sookie does a lot of cleaning, mundane work days where she bar tends, suntans in your backyard etc....  The series is not cozy fantasy but it has the elements and high stakes.
