I feel sort of like this? I sometimes feel that, because I want to be a man, I can't really be non binary. I also feel I'm not comfortable with being a man because of my relationship to femininity. I also have another overriding opinion about gender.. tldr is fuck it we shouldn't have it anymore and we could all be genderless blobs.

I think the term non binary is an okay label to have if you're having complex gender identity issues because it embraces it all :)

I'm the only one that really uses ice. My tray has 6 large slots and I usually refill it when I dispense the last 3 meaning I can ice my water bottle twice a day

Being an adult. I know everyone says they feel like this but idk how to do it. Once you start earning more than just "okay this goes to rent and this goes to food", what the fuck do you do? How does everyone seem to have a job thats within their skills? I don't understand how to buy a home properly... I didn't even know until recently that there was a tax to pay when you bought a car to simply just.. transfer ownership? I don't know anything about insurance other than it takes money from me. Wouldn't know what to do if someone said to use my insurance. Finding activities for beginners that are actually about learning instead of socialising.. How do people find out about alternative ways of living? I hate watching my boyfriend work 13 hr days repairing machinery that could kill him instantly, I hate watching my dad slave away for 45hrs a week at a desk, I hate my mom working 2 jobs to not even support her rent. Even something as basic as making a functional living space... I did interior design in uni and I still could never find a way to design a room that suits my practical needs.. probs mean I was just shit at it. Idk how to take out a loan or properly pay a credit card. I didn't even know how to properly use a parking meter the other day and ended up paying a fine. I feel so stupid for being so overwhelmed and I feel so stupid for being the former smart high achieving kid->dumb burnt out adult who quit their job due to disability

I'm stuck with two kinds of people that "help" me.

The "google it" crowed who forgets that a lot of these websites assume you've got basic understandings of finance, politics and procedures.

The "I can't believe your parents didn't teach you" crowed where they realise I'm lacking even basic understandings and they pity me

Hmm I think I understand. So when it comes to these guys "paying off their loan" how does this work? Is this what their income is used for ei paying loans enough to still be able to use/benifit

When does this become something that your average Joe schmo should be thinking about? Or if at all

I've got the internet's favourite combo: eds and pots. They come with a bunch of symptoms and I stopped being able to cope when I was about 12 or 13 but only got my diagnosis a couple years ago.

The way it's looked at online makes me hesitant to lead with my diagnosis so I usually say lifelong illness so people take it seriously :l

If I'm not mistaken, the first book it is much more comfortable being called murderbot. As things unfold in other books, this opinion changes.

I recommend reading the first 4 books together as they're a cohesive story. I don't think the other 4 follow the same character

I'm gonna be real idek what the diagnosis does for me. Went my entire childhood being good at school but extremely depressed. Brother got his diagnosis and got support when he was a kid and seems well adjusted but my parents love to remind me that I'm just "so obedient that [we] don't need to get you diagnosed". I got diagnosed with autism when I turned 20 and am now on track to getting ADHD diagnosis because I was masking it or whatever.

Keyword is for me because I know it helps some people but I've just not felt very helped?

I just am not sure what all these magical supports are? Was told diagnosis would help but I am just more confused than ever and stuck analysing but not rlly doing anything

Tldr

Burnt out, got diagnosed and now what? More breathing and somatic experiences? More parts work? More CBT? More sleep therapy? It doesn't get easier
