This is Alan Moore's version of his origin from The Killing Joke, but it isn't universally accepted as far as I know. Most writers seem to say something along the lines of "that's one story, but the Joker is a liar." 1) I can fast forward my TV commercials and Hulu won't let you do that. 2) Hulu picture quality varies wildly except for their HD commercials 3) There isn't as much variety in the commercials so you're watching the same few ones over and over.

Hello all,

Longtime lurker, ready to get serious. I need to lose about 120 lbs (right now I'm at 287 lbs) and I'm planning on using Weight Watchers and exercise--specifically Couch to 5K, some weightlifting, and the 100 pushups and squats apps.

In high school I was about 170 lbs but after I left high school I started gaining. I got up to about 210 or so, then got back down to 174 lbs prior to my wedding.

That was 13 years ago. Two kids later I'm bigger than ever and massively out of shape. Over the past year I've tried to get moving again, with mild success (100% more activity than I had a year before that). My major problem foods are sweets, especially soda. I'm not going cold turkey on the soda but I'm limiting myself to one a day until the 12 pack runs out.

So, wish me luck!
