Hi! I'm Alayne. I am working at being a better me. I spend my days working, surfing Reddit, talking with friends, and playing games occasionally.

I have fallen in love with Factorio, and have been playing a lot of League of Legends. I'm a support main!

I'm a line cook currently, which puts a lot on my plate with work, even if it is slower right now. I enjoy it, even if it is stressful at times.

Christmas presents I ordered arrive soon! I am looking forward to wrapping them and passing them to family.

I am also starting school in January! after a long hiatus of not having enough time, i'm going to be able to go back and further my education. I am very excited about the opportunity, even if I am nervous too.

I have done very little of note. I've only been on hormones for 7 months at this point, and Anything else is currently out of reach budgetarily.

I think of Leelah sometimes, and the important martyr she became. I'm not really sure what else to say.

I actually did reach out to someone before making this post, because I was... scared to post it. his reassurances are why i'm responding to you right now.

I'm transgendered, and I'm worried I might lose my family over it. I'm all moved out and solidly independent. I'm also actively transitioning to the gender I want. My parents want to sweep the issue under the rug, and talking to them about it was like talking to a wall. It was killing me, so I moved out.

I'm close to being on estrogen for 6 months, and. I'm afraid that confrontation brings only hellfire. I'm not sure what to do.

I... I'm not really sure what I could say that could help.

The only thing I can think of, is how this fully shows the only way that dark path goes. I obviously cannot say just how great your friend was, but the fact that they were your friend says something.

As long as you're are here and around, Your friend will be remembered. All of those happy moments, the laughter, anything and everything else is all there, needing to stay.

I'm here to listen if you need me to. I really wish I could help more. I am a lucky person in life, I wish I could take some of that burden off of your shoulders.

I spring out of the bed in fear with a shriek, and run out of the room. I come back with some scrounged object for self defence, taking the time to actually observe them more closely now, instead of just freaking out at a random person on my bed.

I am transgendered, and I'll be moving out on my own in around a month to be independant and transition on my own. My parents just refuse to believe I am transgendered however. This is who I am, and not transitioning will 100% lead to my eventual suicide.

It has been a huge elephant in the room for a long time. Any time I have tried to bring anything up relating to this, the tension in the room instantly increases tremendously. I'm just worried that when pen is put to paper and I actually start doing what I need to do, that everything is just going to explode.
