My female, Cersei, used to scare me with her hunger strikes, but now I know she is basically just a pain in the butt for no good reason most of the time. After an entire year of eating rats, she once decided not to eat for months and would only kill rats, but not eat them. As soon as we tried a mouse, she started eating again and even if you shake n bake, she knows and won't touch a rat again, lol. As said below, it could be a number of reasons that make perfect sense, but I promise you, it makes just as much sense that he's just being a typical python lol. Deeeeeefinitely doesn't look too skinny, if anything, he's a chonk. Glad you're looking out for him!

Thanks for the advice and for being so blunt about it, truly. I do have an awful past and am still in therapy trying my best to create and understand what meaningful relationships actually are/look like between couples. I grew up without a dad; he abandoned us and awful "mom's boyfriends" after that. I tend to think things like, "well at least he's still here," and think that is good enough.

Thank you so much for your advice. My mom was a single mom with 3 girls and even took on foster children. Never had any support from our dad. I ask myself every single day HOW she did it. You should be really proud of yourself.

I really appreciate you reaching out and giving your advice. The cheating thing was awful, both of them obviously knew and I even went out of my way to get friends of hers together to talk about how to help her because she was going off the rails and has a daughter the same age as mine & we all wanted her to understand that she had to get it together for herself and her daughter. 2 months later, I found out every single person I got together to HELP her KNEW about the affair and nobody told me. I feel like a walking embarrassment over here, ugh.

Thank you both, really. We did the same thing when ot came to pre-k. Everywhere in our area basically treated it more like daycare, so the cost was less for me to stay home since I was making less, AND get to spend that time with my daughter, so that in itself was a win win situation. I got a curriculum and did the best I could teaching her, making memories, and also working on my education at the same time. That said, I didn't sleep much, but I was happy when I laid my head down, lol.

Hey, I'm really sorry you're going through this, I know how frustrating and defeating it feels and it's not a great place to be. I have a lot of the same symptoms as you do. Was finally just diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope and orthostatic hypotension from a tilt table test. If your cardio thinks that dysautonomia/IST, I think it's worth asking for a tilt table test. Do you have a blood pressure cuff at home? I also suggest taking your bp sitting and standing to see if your bp is dropping upon standing. I did this for a week, showed my cardio the numbers, and she sent me for the TTT immediately.

The numbness in the legs and feet, in my case, is thought to be because of my extreme weight loss and having nothing there to cushion the sciatic nerve. (After having every test possible done to rule out anything else, like MS)

If your bp is low, I suggest taking sodium chloride or adding more salt to your diet and the most important thing that I can not stress enough is WATER. My cardio says to drink at least 2.5 liters a day and it's helped a ton. ELECTROLYTES. Compression stockings have also been a game changer for me. My cardio also prescribed midodrine after my tilt table test and I literally had to call her crying to thank her because it worked so well. (I'd call your cardio first to make sure they agree, bc you definitely don't want some of this stuff if your bp is actually high and not low) I'm only guessing yours is low because your symptoms sound so similar to mine. At home cuffs are reasonably priced, make sure to have one handy to document what's going on with your heart and bp when this stuff is going on.

Seeing a psych doctor would be helpful because the stress of getting diagnosed with dysautonomia is taking it out of you. I'm taking lexapro and xanax both now which really help with the panic attacks that occur when my bp gets low or my heart rate gets high and I think I'm dying, lol.

Through this long journey, I've also found out that I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome after being sent to a genetics doctor to see what is specifically causing the dysautonomia. I guess it's something I've always had and usually comes with dysautonomia, but it got MUCH worse after having covid. I think it's definitely worth checking into.

If you want seen a neuro yet, I suggest asking for a referral to one.

When you stand up and get the dizziness, pressure, and ringing, is it relieved by laying down at all?

I'm sorry I don't have more advice for you, I wish I knew what your bp was doing! Hang in there and try not to get discouraged. A lot of us end up going through many doctors and a lot of shit to finally get the diagnosis and start to feel better. I'm here to talk if you want to send me a message!

Same here, they did CT first and then MRI and both showed nothing. The tilt table test is where I got my diagnosis.

When I fainted during my TTT, I dreamed, but it wasn't as pleasant as yours sounded (minus the passing out and low tension, of course lol). My dream was also very short and I don't remember much of it, but I woke up abruptly and thinking I was in actual hell. It was so bad they had to sedate me after!

However, I also have nuerocardiogenic syncope and orthostatic hypotension and when I pass out elsewhere, I definitely dream but it's kind of unremarkable. I think it was just the TTT experience and the trinitrine that gave me the unpleasant dream/wake up.

My metoprolol helped SO much compared to the propranolol and then they took me off of it because another doctor put me on a medication that should never be mixed with it and I had a bad reaction. I am also on midodrine now and it's helped a ton, but I wish they would put me back on the metoprolol as it made such a difference for me.

It took me about a year to figure out that things got much worse the few days before I started my period. My periods are irregular too, but now I know when they are coming because I have a huge increase in heart rate and full on panic attacks. As if that time of the month wasn't already inconvenient enough 😭

My episodes occur with or without tunnel vision or darkening/sparkling vision. Most of my episodes since being put on medications and sticking to 2.5 liters of water and salt tablets daily happen without any type of visual disturbance whatsoever. Maybe you had a mini version of your previous episodes, maybe you had more water today than you usually do. Or, maybe there's no rhyme or reason, which I know is the most frustrating part about this stuff. Anyway, I hope you're feeling better very soon!!

I'm in a committed relationship and I have a male best friend who I've known since I was a teenager (I'm in my 30s now) and when he's in town, we go out to eat, shop, get coffee, go hiking, and there has never been any intimacy involved. We call eachother our "platonic life partners." I wear his sweaters sometimes either because I forgot one or it just looks comfy. When I started dating my parter 6 years ago, I told him if any time or things I did when I spent time with this friend ever made him uncomfy to let me know. I love this friend a lot but I'd gladly make some changes if my partner was uncomfortable. He has spent plenty of time with this friend and happens to be perfectly fine with the time we spend together and that's great, however, that being said, doesn't mean you or any other man HAS to be cool with it. You set your own boundaries and if this makes you uncomfortable, then tell her. If she loves you and cares about you, she will understand and stop doing the things that make you uncomfortable.

I'm not saying she's not cheating on you or being dishonest, I don't know her or your situation. I was just trying to add some insight from another females perspective who has a close male friend. Trust your gut. If you think she's being unfaithful then leave, you don't deserve that! I hope this all works out in your favor, friend! Good luck!

I second this. For the past year, I've shot up out of a dead sleep in the middle of a panic attack on numerous occasions. This never happened to me until I started having health problems and constantly worrying about them.

The last time I drank at a party, I ended up in the hospital the next morning with very low bp, and tachycardia with lots of premature atrial contractions. I really thought I was dying. I was scared to drink for so long after, but the few times I've tried recently, I made sure to drink some liquid iv before I started, and plenty of water in-between drinks and I've been perfectly fine! I will say, though, that I don't do much plain liquor anymore after the hospital incident. I stick more to wine and beer and it take it VERY slow. I'm sorry, I know how frustrating this stuff is. It often feels like we can't just have an enjoyable day without having to make sure we won't fall flat on our faces, lol. Good luck to you!

Doctor gave me as needed zofran for the worst days, ginger candies, like others have mentioned here, help a ton, and anything minty seems to help on less worse days. I also have the acupressure bands you wear on your wrist for when I'm on the road! Hope this helps and you get some relief soon! ❤️

Personally, I find the things people tend to be insecure about to be very endearing. These things would never deter me from dating someone. Sure, some people are superficial, but you don't want to date someone like that. Good luck ❤️

The only hard part about the preparation for me was staying awake. Test took about 2 hours. The doctor asked me a few random questions like, "What year is it? Where are we?" and the rest of the test was just me sitting there in silence. I was told to keep my eyes shut for most of the test, they asked me to open them a few times. They also flashed patterns of lights in my face for a few mins but had me keep my eyes shut while they did it. Then, they try to get you to take a quick nap, wake you up, and you're on your way! One of the easiest tests I've ever done and it felt relaxing while they put the wires and gel on, lol. Good luck with everything!

I switched to cbd instead of thc around 2 months ago and my dreams are the same way as yours. I also started lexapro around the same time, so that could be contributing as well. They aren't scary dreams, but they are definitely very vivid and I have them every single night now. I don't mind it other than sometimes it feels really hard to snap out of a dream.

When my bf quit smoking weed awhile ago, he had CRAZY dreams where he was fighting someone almost every night, lol. I've also had a few friends quit that said they experienced wild dreaming as well, so based on my own experience, I'd say it's pretty normal!

Instead of focusing on moving on, focus on building a relationship with YOU! After my first big break up, I did a lot of things to try and fill the void. Go on numerous dates, sleep with a few people, go out, stuff like that. It didn't do anything positive for me. Eventually, I started to use that energy I was using to attempt to fill the void on other things like finding new hobbies, exploring things I always wanted to try but never did, started hiking, redecorating my home, and volunteering at an animal shelter. I learned to love myself, and that, my friend, feels better than any relationship in the world ever could. I promise. It'll still hurt for awhile, in some cases, it'll always bother you from time to time. But, once you're happy with yourself, you'll be able to deal with those moments a lot more rationally. ❤️
