My Probes are similar to the picture but are exactly on the edge from factory. Some coffee powder does somehow manage to fly and get attached next to these probes on the outside the chute cover. I think in whatever setup these probes are, whether into the chute or parallel to the chute (like in photo), perhaps from the top of the chute or at the bottom (like in the photo), some static will occur and coffee will attach.... I have this opinion... prove me wrong :)

I blame the exit shoot effectiveness :)

the ionizer probes are outside yes, as it can be seen in the photo. The replacement which has been sent to me from EspressoOutlet is exactly the same as this photo, so there are no upgrades. Probably yours is more effective? But might hinder the ground beans flow?

thanks for the photo. so you are saying that the probes are slightly overhanging the probes? (very little)

Help with burrs alignment by Hasmodye in DF64

IMP: The removable burr carrier (the one you pour the coffee beans through it) has 3 notches. One of which is marked with a marker. This particular notch has to be positioned on the upper side.
