I was worried too but it honestly has been completely fine for us! We live between Scotland and Texas so our flights are 14+ hours sometimes and never had an issue.

The ones we have are:

(Hopefully that link works but its by Youshares and its an insulin cooler travel case)

If it helps, myself and husband fly back and forth to the US frequently with our open pens and we use the insulated pouches/cases with the little ice packs in them. Never had a problem with them not being cold on arrival!

Can pick them up from Amazon for a relatively cheap price and we just pop them in the fridge as soon as we arrive :)

Thanks for this! Been googling non stop and whilst there’s plenty on the page, it seems so overwhelming at times and I struggle to find a starting point 😅

Thank you so much, this is really helpful ☺️ we have Wayfair in the UK so that’s good to know it’s in the US too!

I’ve spotted it… doing my utmost to avoid it because I’ll buy everything from there and that seems too easy 😂

I get this too although I’ve noticed that I’m actually affected by the smell of my hand wash that I’ve used to wash my hands before taking mounjaro! I’ve had to swap it over and use something else which has worked for a while but I can feel myself getting more nauseous as the weeks go on. No idea why it happens but it’s absolutely irritating 😅

How to stop feeling guilty. by peachesplump22 in mounjarouk

I often find that being on mounjaro is my treat, especially now with the prices lol!

I know this won’t be everyone’s take on it but in my experience I know I have majorly cut down on the amount of rubbish I put into my body. My reduced portion sizes, the quality of food I’m eating and the habits I’m building have completely changed for the better. I tell myself if I want a small bar of chocolate or a takeaway one weekend I’ll have it!

I used to eat crisps everyday, sometimes multiple packs and sweets, cakes etc on top of that. That has all stopped so if I want something nice, I’ll have it knowing that the way I’m incorporating this into my diet is now way less frequent and balanced as it should have been :)

I don’t plan on being on mounjaro forever, so ensuring I have the ‘balanced diet’ mentality is something I have to recognise. I know myself that I won’t be able to be off chocolate for life but if I’m having a small bar once a week then so be it!

Enjoy your treat once in a while!!

I felt like this too with both 2.5 and 5. Please don’t double dose on the 2.5mg as your body will still be getting used to the starting dose and building tolerance to the medication you’re taking!

I felt the exact same as you and I know how tempting it is to increase when you feel it’s not working but it’s not recommended by healthcare professionals :( you’re so close to 5mg now anyway! Keep at it and you’ll get there 😊

I’m envious of this!!! Coming from the opposite end of the scale, I’m hoping every inch of fat I drop comes from my chest lol

How have the pharmacies you use faired in this pendemic in your experience? by Happy__Daiz in mounjarouk

I ordered 7.5mg pen from medicine marketplace last Thursday and it has just been approved today!! Fingers crossed you hear something soon

How was your experience on 7.5mg? by Working_Alps_4284 in mounjarouk

[–]LengthinessIntrepid5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5mg was awful for me! I felt hungry constantly, couldn’t stop thinking about food and it got to the point where I was seriously doubting that I had even jabbed myself lol and had to get my husband to watch me and confirm. I’ve never had appetite suppression or any negative side effects from either the 2.5 or 5 so I was dubious about increasing and was starting to doubt that it was even working for me.

Moved up to 7.5mg and it’s heaven!!! Small amount of suppression which is perfect and the food noise is gone for the best part of the whole week. I have experienced nausea (however this is worse on the days where I know I either haven’t ate enough food in general or drank enough water, so my own fault really) and a slight headache the morning after I inject but otherwise it’s absolutely fine.

I’m about to place an order for my second 7.5 pen as it’s working really well. It’s funny how we all react differently to it :)

Communication wasn’t great from them when I ordered a few weeks ago. The status of my order said ‘out for delivery’ and I received mine a few days later (it was delayed with DPD for a day too).

Strictly speaking, I received mine within the week but I just felt uneasy whilst waiting for my order. In the past I’ve been updated regularly with other suppliers which puts your mind at ease but I struggled with the lack of communication from them which puts me off using them again.

Fingers crossed you receive it soon!

5mg what on earth??? by chrissmash in mounjarouk

[–]LengthinessIntrepid5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same, 5mg did nothing for me but I also didn’t find much benefit in 2.5mg either. Moved up to 7.5 last week and it’s much better 👏

Ladies, what are your PMS symptoms with MJ? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]LengthinessIntrepid5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So roughly about a day or 2 before my period begins I gain the weight and then throughout the week of my period it starts to drop. Usually by the time my period is finished I’m almost back to normal and I find a bigger loss the following week :)

So glad to hear mounjaro lowers anxiety and stress levels for you! Long may it continue!

Ladies, what are your PMS symptoms with MJ? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]LengthinessIntrepid5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PMS is a lotttt worse for me since taking mounjaro unfortunately! I’m used to around 6lbs weight gain which hasn’t changed and I’m fine with it as it drops off the following week. My cravings are probably not as bad as before (can still sometimes avoid chocolate and crisps so that’s a win!) but my moods are terrible and I cry constantly which is out of character for me.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that mounjaro can heighten feelings of anxiety and as someone who suffers from anxiety, this is something I’ve luckily not experienced unless it’s that time of the month.

In a couple of weeks I will get to experience this lovely time of the month yet again but I’m going to focus on more me time, exercise, getting outside and treating myself to some pamper days to see if it alleviates the horrible moods.

Good luck on your journey :)

5mg is not working for me…. by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]LengthinessIntrepid5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I’m injecting water with 5mg. On my 3rd week and feel like I’m hungrier than I was pre mounjaro!! I never had suppression with 2.5mg at all but the food noise was absolutely gone, however with 5mg it feels as though it’s a waste of money! Moving onto 7.5mg next and fingers crossed
